Nice place. It was the palace where the Buddhists lived. You can buy tickets while entering. It is a beautiful place as it is a very old house. There is an art gallery inside it. And also a Buddha statue where you can meditate. It is such a big palace so that it has 9 floors. So, in evening you can relish the sunset at last floor.

Entry was 40 I guess per person. A little difficult to climb all the way up till level 10 but it's worth the time you spend because all levels offer you a great view of the mountains.

Last residing king's palace is worth the visit. It's interesting too to know the history of it in the gallery and audio visual room

Lachen Palkar Palace is also known as Leh Palace was a former royal palace. Leh Palace is an excellent example of Ladakh's best architectural skill and craftsmanship.
It is nine storeys high; the upper floors accommodated the royal family, while the lower floors held stables and store rooms.

Unique piece of Leh's history with ongoing restoration efforts that aim to preserve the structure and illuminate the palace's history. Steep stairs, small door frames, and lots of rooms to explore on several levels.

This Mountain palace are not easy to climb with very narrow stairs and confusing path. But when u enter inside and after all the struggle reach the top it was worth the climb. Nice view of the whole city and the royal family might have made this in such a way to have a view of the whole area. Inside the palace there is a nostalgia and it takes you back to the history of our rich India. Designed and crafted to perfection so that rooms remains heated when in immense snowfall. Worth a visit .

The steady climb to Leh Palace, perched atop a hill, to capture the picturesque landscape was worth it. Constructed in the 17th century, the architecture of the palace exhibits a blend of Tibetan, Indian and medieval Islamic influences. It stands nine stories high and offers panoramic views of the Leh town below and the Himalayan mountain ranges beyond.
