They have a great selection of menu from pasta to cakes. I myself, love their pizzas. The staff are so friendly and helpful as well. A great spot for comfort food in Leh Ladakh within walking distance from my guesthouse. A great advantage at high altitude 😁

The Breakfast options are really good with a good selection of local and world cuisine. Their Ladakhi thukpa and momos are great. The English Breakfast is a good hearty option with a selection of eggs. The Staff is friendly and the place has a good atmosphere with good seating arrangements.

Great food. Ravi attended to us and served us well. Shared stories about Leh which was insightful to tourist like me. Food wise was good. The thukpa was tasty and the 3 types of dishes in one dish was great too. Manchurian chicken, fried rice and also fried noodles all in one dish.

This is one of the best pizza restaurant in Leh. We have taken Chicken tikka pizza and Trout fish tandoori. Both are delicious. I will surely recommend the restaurant.

The GESMO is a long-standing landmark in Leh's tourist district. I remember having breakfast the last two times I was here and how much I enjoyed it, sitting by huge windows overlooking the busy street. A great place for good food, people-watching and overhearing travel stories. The GESMO's old premises have been torn down a bigger and finer building is coming up in its place. The process could take up to two years more. Meanwhile, fear not, the café-restaurant has moved into the first floor of the building opposite its old premises, in a fine, colourful, even fancier premises. There're plush sofas, blue cushioned chairs, and an awesome narrow oitdoor light blue balcony with high chairs, overlooking the happening Fort Road. Since it was breakfast time, I ordered an Indian breakfast. Not my first choice, but the prices fort the set GESMO breakfast have moved northwards and beyond the budget of Indian backpackers like me. The GESMO also doesn't have brown bread, so all the more reason to avoid its western set breakfasts. The GESMO has always been a pro in how the food is served and laid out on the plate. It's good to be pampered this way. The aloo paratha was delicious, soft and crunchy. The masala omelette very authentically Indian. The masala chai that came with the breakfast could've been a bit hotter, but never mind. The experience sitting in the balcony with my meal, and watching the world go by was unparalleled.

Affordable and tasty continental food options!

We were at Gesmo to try out some continental food after eating aloo puri for days during our road trip. The place did not disappoint at all. There was a waiting time of Atleast 15min when we were there. Things we ordered

Veg Pizza

The portion size is not too big so you might have to order your own accordingly. The place is also cutely done though it’s crowded all the time. There are lots of bakery items which we didn’t try.

Gesmo is Leh's classic Diner. It's run by a bunch of really nice Nepali guys. Anyone who's been to Leh a bunch of times has probably seen these guys serve what is probably the best breakfast you can get in Leh. The caramelized onions over hash browns in the Yak Cheese breakfast are my favourite here.

This is a nice place to enjoy local food.
I recommend the pita bread with hummus, the burgers and the lemon juice.

So recently I visited this beautiful, vibrant GESMO'S restaurant which is in leh city. Though it's a rainy day here... The staff is very humble and helpful with their dishes ...here i ordered Sapta Tingmo chicken... which was Very tasty as they prepare fresh food here.... And the chicken corn soup was yum ..! 😋 Must recommend this restaurant and their food....❣🙏

So this restaurant was recommended to me by one of my friend's. Hands down it's one of the most amazing places to eat in Leh. Situated right near the Leh main market, it's one of the best restuarants and their food is amazing. Little bit on the premium side the prices are decent ranging from 100-300 per dish. I had Hash brown potatoes, cheese breakfast and poori bhaji here.
All 3 dishes were exquisite, it all tasted soo good. They also have bakery items and i would recommend you to try some biscuits, apple pie and apricot cheese cakes.

One of the best places to hangout. Very friendly staff that would also help you planning your trip.

We were here for vacation & glad we found this place. Food is great & top notch. Not disappointed at all. We had the best food in our last 5 days of our vacation.

While I was in Leh I visited this place 2-3 times. English breakfast was good. I tried mashed potatoes cheese momo which was fine. Mix parantha was good and few more things

Gesmo greets people in a new place just opposite of where it had always been located from decades.

Food still remains delicious now with a more charming place to sit and dine.

Earlier one received a good amount of sun and helped during their late winter openings to combat the cold, this time around it is still to see how they keep their clients warm but none the less an awesome experience.

This is a must try restuarant in Leh. They offer variety of items on menu. It's usually crowded in late evening during peak season. Make sure to reach early. We should also try their bakery items, which we packed for next day trip.

Absolutely amazing food, everything tasted good. The drinks were also yum. We tried momos, pita, chicken sizzler, yak cheese pizza ( highly recommended ). Both veg and non veg was yum. Located very near to the main market. Have at least one meal here whenever you are visiting Leh

Restaurant is located near to Leh main market. We tried 5-6 items here n they all were yummy. Their menu mainly covers North Indian & Chinese dishes. If u r looking for one f the best bites in Ladakh, do visit this restaurant.

I want to start with stating that Gesmo is one of the best restaurants in Leh for local as well as international cuisines.

While I was planning a trip to Leh, I was excited to try out the local cuisines such as Thukpa, Thenthuk & Tingmo. I tried these dishes at Gesmo and it was amazing. I still can't get over the taste and flavours of each & am craving for more. If you are in Leh, you should definitely visit this restaurant

Tingmo is something that you should certainly not miss

Good food, great staff but space is a bit cramped. Must try : Thentuk, yak cheese Pizza, pan fried cheese momos and pita bread(Israeli hummus platter)
