Lamayuru Restaurant

Food was great, location and interior are good. But, most importantly the owner Robin goes above and beyond to help his customers choose the most satisfying dishes for themselves. Chicken tikka, cheese garlic naam and pad thai pak were my choices. Jasmin and safron teays were delicious. Wifi works great as well.

The service is great, the ingredients are fresh, the menu is vast (it has just about anything your taste-buds might be desiring). I absolutely LOVED the Mango Smoothie Bowl (with seeds, nuts, honey, fresh fruit, cinnamon, etc...); it's the best thing I've had in Leh, so far, during both my trips here. Their Pad Thai Pak veg noodles were really good, too.

They also have free wifi and a restroom, both of which are MUSTS for me in Leh. And it's situated very close to Leh Main Market Street, so it's convenient to visit.

I'll definitely return to try more from their menu, and I'll add in pics and comments when I do. 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is absolute gem. We loved all of the dishes we ordered. Chinese Choupsey, Momos, mango chia shake were some of the best which I had at any other place. Rates were quite reasonable and the staff was quite nice too. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits leh.

One word “fabulous” healthy food. Don’t go by the look of the place since it is on a small corner and I was bit sceptical about the place while I was entering. But my my the moment food started coming I was shocked. Healthy and delicious food. Chia seed pudding chef nailed it. From soup to lemon rice and chicken it was taste with healthy. The food was so good that in few hours I got hungry. I WILL SURELY VISIT AGAIN. Thank you to all the humble staff and to the owner to have such a great place.

Good food, fast service and very courteous staff.
Special mention for chia seeds smoothie with mango. It was awesome.

Best food in Leh town. That we had all three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) on the same day here reflects the great food they serve.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and all tourists. We had lunch here three times. The food was absolutely amazing with high-quality and the staff were amazing and very responsive. Everything that we ordered was really good. We had soup, pasta, honey, chilli potato, chips, Himalayan trout and many of the smoothies service was fast.

Splendid! Must visit if you’re visiting Leh and looking for something good to eat. They’ve a wide variety of cuisines available. All of them are equally good and fresh. The owner is such a gentleman. Apart from the food, he’s well versed with the locality as well as places of interest all over the Ladakh region. We enjoyed our food and had a nice and long conversation with the owner as well. Must visit.

A gem of a restaurant near the Leh Main Market. the staff is friendly and attentive and food great. Must try their thupka, chicken steamed momos, Sandeko chicken momos( spicy) and the Mango chia pudding. A food lovers heaven!

Loved the taste. We went around 5,it was empty but by time we finished food it was full. We ordered mushroom corn pizza with yak cheese add on and vegetable thupka.
Both were great 🤤. Pizza was much better than La Piazzetta which we had earlier.

One Of The Best Restaurants In Leh City. During My Two Outings In Leh, 2013 & 2023, What Is Loved Is The Taste & Warmth Of Janki Aunty. It's A Must Visit For All The Food Lovers In Leh.

Ordered Thai Curry (Green), Apricot juice, Israeli breakfast (forgot it's name), and tea.....

All were decent. Juice was really good.

The Yak Cheese can be added to any of their Pizzas. We visited Lamayuru specifically to have the Yak Cheese Pizza and it was delicious. We had our doubts about Yak Cheese but it's not a lot different from buffalo cheese just a little more fatty and slightly sweet. We also tried the Trout fish which was perfectly made too. We ended up overeating at Lamayuru and skipped dinner at the end of the day.

This is one amazing place to taste the flavours of Leh. Its authentic and traditional.
You must try -
Breakfast, Tibetan dishes and not to miss the special mushroom corn pizza.

Another specialty is their unadulterated fresh juices without sugar like mango, watermelon etc

We had the most amazing chicken barbeque pizza, chicken cordon bleu, amazing & fresh tandoori trout fish (my first time 😋), most authentic chicken manchow soup, peach iced tea, Oreo shake, most refreshing sweet lassi & ended with the delicious gulab jamun..

Good taste and quality of food. We tried veg sizzler, ginger lemon tea, veg steamed momos, and vegetables in hot garlic sauce. The patty in the sizzler looked freshly prepared.
