Grand Himalaya - Luxury Hotel | Best Hotel | Leh | Ladakh

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on April 27 and 28. Upon checking in, the staff notified us that we were their first guests of the season. They explained that most of the hotels stay closed for the winter.

For our two nights, we were their only guests and we were treated like royalty. The service was excellent. Special mention to the entire kitchen staff including the chef for preparing delicious meals (our package included breakfast and dinner) and the service staff for waiting on us and keeping us company while we ate.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The location was central. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable stay with a personal touch.

Excellent hotel with preserving heritage of Ladakh region in their restaurant and most important Owner of hotel is very kind and informative about the property and service

The hotel and the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean, spacious anf beautiful. The rooms even had a little balcony. The rooms had all the accessories like hair dryers, kettles, etc. I also enjoyed a lavish breakfast and dinner buffet.

Definitely one of the best foods I've had. Their chole kulcha is a must try. This place also provides complimentary breakfast.

Amazingly well maintained rooms - With towels, bathroom slippers etc. available. The service staff is super helpful and helped us out with all kinds of requests. The manager is very friendly and helped us prepare our itinerary.

Fun detail: The bathroom doors are transparent with a curtain for privacy if need be (:p)

All in all, an amazing place to stay while in Leh

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the sights and attractions. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is located just 200mts from the main market of Leh. The rooms are big and spacious. The buffet has great varieties available for foodies. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended.

Hotel is full of antique...garden area is also good. The chef at hotel is very good so delicious and tasty food..would highly recommend this hotel...special thanks to the owner I never seen so down to earth person truly a gentleman.

Great location, perfect for a stroll to the Leh main market without being close enough to be noisy or crowded.
Food and courtesy of the limited staff is a high point.
Parking is available, but could be an issue in peak season with all rooms sold.
Clean rooms, linen and bathroom.
Overall, a recommended stay.

The property is good. Dining area is styled with lots of antiques. Rooms are big and comfortable.
But the balconies are v small and useless. View from very few rooms is good. We had 4 rooms and none of the rooms had a good view. There are no lawns, a very small open sitout place. The breakfast and dinner buffet had limited options. Food was fine. The front desk manager was not available most of the times. As Leh was fully occupied in our days, we settled with this option..

The rooms are well appointed with central heating.
Views from the balcony are excellent - you can view the Stok Kangri range from the higher floors.
The lobby and restaurant are visually appealing. Food was lovely.
Furniture is classically wooden carved and adds to the appeal of the hotel.
Staff was very pleasant and hospitable. I travelled in May '21 at the peak of the lockdown. The staff made my stay very comfortable despite the challenges of the lockdown.
Overall an excellent stay at the Grand Himalaya.
Would love to be back.

The reception staff are extremely polite friendly and efficient. Ambience is fantastic.

Rooms were decent, Service was also good, and the location is very close to Leh's popular market and Gurudwara Sahib🙏 and mosque🕌.

Staff is very nice here …. Overall Services from food to room service to cab service everything is so excellent …… best hotel in Leh …… I am a business woman and choose places and my stays accordingly and this place has my heart ❤
