Good place to visit.
Even it's called as Purani Haveli.
This museum showcases the gifts that the last Nizam of Hyderabad, received on his silver jubilee celebrations.
The building does give you a historic vibe.

Lovely Nizam articles. Historic and well preserved. Only small con Ticket prices Rs.125 per person I feel restricts audience. Lots of silver and gold articles like lock key bowl plate spoon models etc.

Lots of interesting things and the History of Hyderabad in the museum. Located right next to Purani Haveli where you can't enter.
Highlights of the museum are Nizam's wardrobe which is the world's longest. Golden Tiffin box and a throne. It's kind of like a Private museum, so it's better to go with a guide which most of the visitors do.

A small but beautiful museum in Purani Haveli, Hyderabad which tells us the story of the city itself. The premises remain open from 10 am till 5 pm.The entry fees is Rs.125 per head. For photography, they charge extra Rs.150 per phone/camera.Inside the museum, there are three halls in total, two showcasing various artifacts belonging to the last Nizam, designs of osmania university and various developmental projects undertaken by him. It also boasts of the 425 kgs of gold invested by His Highness to the National Defence Fund of India in 1965, which in itself is a world record. There is also a special 3D painting of the Nizam made from two rare glasses in the hall which will look straight into your eyes, doesn't matter in whichever position you remain.

The third hall is a huge personal wardrobe of the Nizam as he never wore the same cloth for a second time.

Nizam's Museum" incorporates a fantastic display of exhibits of gifts gifted to the Seventh Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur at the time of Silver jubilee celebration of his completion of 25 years of rule, these gifts were gifted by prominent and eminent personalities of Hyderabad and also by various departments. Which was celebrated in "Jubilee Hall" at public garden ( Bagh e Aam ) which was especially constructed to host this event.

The museum is really very well maintained...
Toilets are very neat and cleaned....
All the models are crafted in pure silver are awesome...
Was surprised to see the donation of Nizam Sarkar 5000 kilo gold for indian army at the time of Prime Minister shri Lal Bahadur Shastri....means ₹32705000000 in today's.

The 100 years old furniture still looks very fresh n new....well maintained.

Could see the tiffin (which was stolen in 2018) of worth of crores with diamonds....superb

Shahgad bridge (Aurangabad District) which was built during Nizam Sarkar tenure .....the model is there in pure silver.

There's a picture of nizams last king, from whatever the angle you see it, it looks like it's looking towards you and his throne on the other room was soo amazing, I almost felt like jumping the rope just sit over there 😅 actually it's soo royal looking. Worth the entry ticket with price of 120/- per head.

As we need to pay extra 150 to capture pictures I didn't open my phone to click pictures

Truly worth visiting!!!!

A well known museum in Hyderabad specially known for the exhibition of Nizam's various collections. Museum is quite good for a visit. Most of the displays are solid models made of silver of various landmarks such as Mojam jahi market, high court building, jubilee hall and Osmania university. Some models made of gold with great craftsmanship. All are presented by someone to the Nizam. The long wardrobe in the museum and a manual operating lift imported from London is a perfect symbol of accurate foundry and fabrication work at that time . The entry fee for the museum is of Rs. 80/_ per adult and Rs. 15/_ per a child. Good museum, worth a visit.

In nizam's Museum there are so many things to see. There are 29 rooms in museum. In just 29 rooms there are 29 different things are kept there. Four sections are my best. Declare area in which there are so many dolls made by clay. There is a area in which there are so many shots or weapons are there. There are two areas in which many handmade for portraits are there. And the fourth and the last one is the train station one of the best area to see

Must visit. The palace also houses the Nizam's museum, which is dedicated to the last Nizam of Hyderabad state. Currently the palace is being used as a school and as an Industrial training institute.
