Immersed in a vibrant underwater world, I marveled at the kaleidoscope of colors as exotic fish glide gracefully through the water. The hypnotic dance of the jellyfish and the playfulness of the sea otter created an exciting symphony of marine life, making my visit to the Taraporevala aquarium was a truly enchanting experience. I and my family enjoyed a lot.....🤩

It's just 300meters from Charni Road station. Western Railway. I visited in December 2019. Ticket rate is as below
Rs 60/- for adult. For children, govt. Servant, handicap, retired govt. Servant, educational trip people it is 30/-

For foreigners it is Rs 200. However for foreigner children it's 100 Rs.

Camera is not allowed inside. Only single floor. Takes hardly 15mins to see all fishes. There is 1 projector room which is always ON to show video regarding Fish marketing in India.

Good for family. Just infront of Marine drive beach.

This sightseeing place in Mumbai is one of the largest aquariums in the city of Mumbai. Situated in Marine Drive, this aquarium was founded by D. B. Taraporewala, a Parsi philanthropist, in the year 1951. The aquarium has a twelve feet long three-sixty degrees glass tunnel that holds interesting marine life.
There are several species of fish here, such as damselfish, butterfly fish, tiger fish, angelfish, moss, sea urchins, sea cucumber, marine eels, tube worms, tangs, batfish, puffer fish, tangs, jellyfishes, orandas etc that make this aquarium a highly diverse collection of marine life. There are a total of thirty-two tropical tanks in the building.
You can also see several species of freshwater and marine plants such as water lilies. There is also a fish spa and touch pool, where you can dip your feet in the water and the fish eat away the dead skin off your feet (at the fish spa), and you can touch sea urchins, turtles, sea cucumbers in the touch pool.

Had been to the aquarium with my kid. Entry is 60 for adults and 25 for kids above 3 yrs of age. The best attractions were the Turtles (both variety of Big & Small), lion fish and the fresh water fish. Last time they had shark also which I could not find this time. The aquarium is a good place to go with your kids and can easily kill 30 min to 1 hr here.
