There are a few places that serve great food. There are few that wow with their service. There are few where the owners are so sweet and aren't khadoos.
Vinay health home has all three. It's run by a third generation owner who intends to keep family and traditions alive. When I asked with the intent of knowing more, he patiently talked to me. The food is spectacular!

What a find! Some of the best Maharashtran (+ gujarati) snack joint. All the classics are here and service is fast and pricing low. Special highlights were the misal pav (uniquely sweet), the thecha, and the kothimbir vada. Must try!!

This place is authentic and the taste never changes. The staff makes you realise how long this place has been running for. The food is just amazing. The misal pav is a must have if you visit this place. The sabudana Vada is another dish you must try. Don't forget to finish your meal with 'Piyush'. The consistency of the drink is perfect and goes well with the misal pav.

My father used to take us to this joint Visited this place after 20 years.. Patal bhaji, Dahi Misal, Piyush...Same awesome taste ... Nostalgic moment.. Best hygiene maintained..

Authentic marathi snacks...batata wada, Thalipith, Kothimbir wadi, Kharwas, puri bhaji , missal, sabudana khichadi etc etc. Excellent taste. A bit crowded and Sitting area is bit clumsy but you can ignore that. Even food parcel facilty is available separately. Not costly. Worth coming again and again.

I had the best Misal Pav here. Neat clean hygienic place with quick friendly service. They have an AC service hall too. We tried two types of misal, a special and Dahi misal pav with Sabudana Vada, Poha, Bournvita, Kesar milkshake, loved them. Reasonably priced and they accept all modes of payment. Highly recommend this place for yummy food specially misal pav if you are in Mumbai

I have grown up in this area and Vinay's food is the go-to food when you want to have something tasty and fresh. The misal pav, sabudana vada, thalipeeth and kothimbir wadi are a must try. Their piyush and mango lassi complements the authentic Maharashtrian dishes served by them.
The food joint is shut on Wednesday and open on rest of the days. There is a/c and non-ac seating. You may have to wait for a table on weekends as it is full in evenings. Whether it's the crispy and light sabudana vada with fresh groundnut and coconut chutney or the lip smacking misal Or the refreshing thick mango lassi in any case you just can't miss the yummy delicacies doled by them.

Vinay a renowned name since 1970 situated in the heart of Girgaum, Charni Road with its delicious maharashtrian snacking items like Puneri Misal Pav, Usal Pav, Thali peeth, Kande Pohe, Sabudana wada, sabudana khichdi, and more items.

The ambience is good here with cleanliness. Staff is really cooperative.

Amazing maharashtrian cuisine in an unassuming eatery, tried misal paav, kothumbir vadi and puran poli. All were very good, and the puran poli was top notch.

Authentic Maharashtrian food at a very reasonable price. The Piyush drink is fantastic like drinking liquid shrikand. The kothimbir vada were also out standing. Prefect crispy and soft consistency with right favors. The puran pooli with ghee is also very good. The misal could be a little spicier for a good kick .

Very good food, specially if you are looking for authentic Marathi food.

Delusions & authentic taste of misal. I tried Batata vada Misal. My all time favorite, Perfect tea stall style strong tea, vada pav and many more yummy dishes to try. I suggest Must visit...

Well, I went here for breakfast. Had Poha and misal pav. The food was simple and tasty. I liked the misal pav. It was very good. They are known for Maharashtrian cuisine. A lot of Maharashtrian Food to chose from. Also, the place was kept clean. We also had Toast bread butter and tea which was good.

One of the best places in Mumbai to have misal pav and other Maharashtrian culinaries.The food arrives hot within minutes. The staff is pretty helpful.

Best best best place to have typical maharashtrian food, you should definitely have the Misal, Usal, Patal bhaji and Kothambir wadi here. They are absolutely fantastic. Quick service and extremely pocket friendly. This place is one of my favourites for breakfast or dinner❤. Its shut on wednesdays.

Went there this Sunday again to have misal, usal, kothambir wadi and sabudana wada and batata wada, as usual this place can never disappoint 😍😍🤗.

Now this place is amazing!!! It is just can't be the taste and simplicity, it is the third generation legacy running this pure vegetarian restaurant. Be it is kind hearted, joking owner, typical dressing of the serving people or the menu, this place is epic!! Must be on your charts if you are a good lover and like to try every vegetarian authentic dishes of this area. Misal can be a bit spicy. We tried Sabudana Vada which was great. Coffee was strong and I loved it. A MUST GO!!

Situated in the narrow lanes near bhuleshwar, this place is really famous for its Maharashtrian style eatery and trust me this place doesn't disappoint be it any item you order them from their Menu.

Always crowded with those food hoggers who are here for their excellent dishes. I myself have been enjoying their food since I was a kid and after all these years the food here is damn tasty.

Much recommended if you're at bhuleshwar (dont miss the place)
