Cafe CakeBee

This is one of the few places that have got a 5-star review from me. I visited Cafe CakeBee for lunch and ordered a Thai cold coffee and veg alfredo pasta. The coffee was SO good. They probably made it using coconut milk or coconut cream along with caramel. Let me tell you, the combination was mind-blowing. Their Thai cold coffee is a must-try. The pasta was good too and had balanced flavours.

This cafe has aesthetic interiors with a super chill and laid-back vibe. It's a place where I could sit for hours, reading a nice book while sipping some coffee and enjoying their delicious food.

We had breakfast. One of the best places for this. Amazing preparations. Very expensive but good service, good presentation and very gentle staff.

Easy parking, easy accessibility and both Indoor and Outdoor sitting. A must visit!

Breakfast was delicious! Had the French Omelette with sausages and the English breakfast and also a hazelnut cheese cake. I must say I really loved the Omelette and toast with butter. It was filling and had an amazing, creamy, buttery flavour. Breakfast can be shared by two. Would totally vouch for it. Hazelnut cheesecake was absolutely scrumptious! Service was fairly good. The ambience could be improved. But I'm not complaining as the food made up for everything else. The prices are reasonable compared to many other cafes. Cost for two (entree, main course and dessert) would be 800-1000. I'm totally going back!

Very quiet and homely experience surrounded by a lot of greenery.
The breakfast was amazing and on point. Everything we had was excellent. A lovely place you should try breakfast here it's a very quiet place with no disturbance. Check it out and let me know.

Alright. This is one of the really few places where almost everything we ordered tasted good. I didn’t even know a place like this existed.

The ambience was good but to me, something felt missing and off. Please check the photos.

This was my first time here and we ordered…
Garlic bread, chicken sambusa, chicken club sandwich, garlic roasted chicken mac and chees pasta. Out of all these, the chicken sambusa was just meh and didn’t feel like it was worth 280INR. Others tasted fine to me. Boy! The pasta. Literally the best pasta I’ve ever had. That just tasted so well and was super thick. Oh and hey, it came with garlic bread, of course it costed 480INR. But yes. It was good. Would recommend.

So this is my second visit to this restaurant and boy, wasn't it worth it. Since I didn't get to try many dishes the first time, I wanted to explore the menu so I made sure I ordered all the famous dishes. The English breakfast was not the best, but really good in its own way. Mushroom cappuccino is an acquired taste but we really loved it. Chicken cream soup is a must try. The starters were chilli beef, fish fingers and chilli garlic wings. Nothing extraordinary but they were delicious. For mains, we ordered chicken tikka pizza, wow it was one of the best pizzas. Absolutely awesome. The spaghetti pasta was too good and the same goes for fish and chips and grilled chicken. Cauliflower steak was a standout, all mention to the harissa greens which accompanies it. The garlic bread was also really good. However, the star was always the desserts. New York cheesecake, hazelnut cheese cake, 7layer chocolate cake and hot chocolate cake. Hazelnut cheese cake was the standout for everyone and was absolutely gorgeous. Newyork cheesecake is one of the best versions in Chennai. Overall, loved the food and service. We just wished the entire menu was available, but there were many things which weren't.

Let me come to the food and the ambience of the place later but their customer service....wow just wow!! Such an professional and friendly approach. Wana go there again n again just for the way they treated us. Tried out their grilled fish and pasta. Loved it!! Such a peaceful ambience too!! Its definitely a must try. Their customer service is top notch!

Straightforward stylistic layout, comfortable mood and brief assistance basically summarize “cafe CakeBee” the spot that outperforms numerous bistros in Chennai. For the most part renowned for throughout the day breakfast, sweet and pastry shop stuff, the menu card contains lavish dishes going from Salad, Pizza to hot chocolate and Soups. Found away from the bustling roads of Chennai, this bistro is ideal for babbles with your precious ones. This is extraordinary compared to other breakfast bistros in Chennai that you can't bear to pass up!

Really lovely place tucked away in alwarpet, crowded during weekends and sometimes service is slow but the ambience and calmness of the place makes you forget all that. Food is also incredible and their hot chocolate is to die for.

Food was average we tried the hot chocolate cake and the choco lava cake. The hot chocolate was way better than the latter.

Hazelnut cheesecake was out, so please either come after 5pm or early in the morning.

Giving 5 stars for Vinay he was really good to us. And very honest in recommendation! Not gonna lie, he was spot on.

One of my recent, favourite hangout spot in the city only for their wonderful ambience, friendly staff and delicious food.

It is a house converted into a cafe and it is pretty big with ample seating (including outdoor as well). They have comfy, cushiony seats and pastel interiors. So pretty that you can literally sit there for solid 4-5 hours!

We ordered a Stuffed Mushrooms, Broccoli Mushroom Pasta, French Press, Cold Coffee and Flourless Choco Fudge with Ice cream.

Loved the Pasta. Creamy, cheesy and flavoursome. Exactly how I like my Pasta to be. We asked for extra olives which indeed added a punch to the flavour!

The Stuffed Mushrooms were my favourite here. So scrumptious. But, we were served only six small pieces.

Choco Fudge was pretty good. Expected some chocolate to ooze out. My bad!

Cold Coffee seemed a bit watery in its consistency but wasn’t all that bad. Manageable!

The French Press was great and really impressive as well.

Been here twice already in 2 weeks: Lovely place. Fab food. Nice service. Great space (restaurant above the bakery) & value for money. Their pastas are the best: Roast Vegetable Lasagna perfection: Perfect layers, yummy, easy to cut. Their pesto is delicious. cheese ravioli in white sauce was great & the rich flavours of the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was yummy. The camembert pockets were awesome. Served with a delicious apple and raisins dip/sauce. First time tasted the combination of cheese and apple and they go great together. The cheese stuffed mushrooms were flavourful melt in the mouth starters.

BEST HOT CHOCOLATE in town so far. So rich, so flavorful, and sooo chocolatey. I found it a lil difficult to get to the place but once you're there but once you get there it has a neautiful ambience .they have a variety of starters maincourse and dessert. But the main thing to order here is their Hot chocolate. It is worth the money and satisfying. The 7 layered Choco cake is to die for. They have cheesy fries as well.
A small disappointment was i didnt like the Cheesecake (personally) It was more like a icecake but the presentation was awesome.

Have been to this place at least 10 times in 3 months. Will 100% recommend for brunch and dinner. Their hot chocolate is to die for.

Location - heart of the city and close to lot of crowded places and eateries in the city
Ambience - subtle and neatly done
Customer service - welcoming and helpful
Food - tastes brilliant
Pricing - not cheap but worthy of the taste and quality. Breakfast menu is quite amazing

We had English breakfast and it was served hygienic, made our tummy full. Taste was very good. Much recommended for 8am english breakfast

A lovely restaurant in the heart of the city, located in Seethamal Colony.

The restaurant offers amazing food. The service and staff is excellent and they serve large variety of dishes.

We started with a fresh quinoa salad, moved on to starters with a variety of meat, grilled fish, jerked chicken, chicken satay. Mini chicken burger and panini. Their sweet lime fresh juice was tightly balanced.

Highlight of the night was Nitro brew cafe, a brew of Marc's Balmaadi Coffee mixed with nitrogen for a foamy, cold black coffee.

There's no valet parking available currently, but you should be able to find street parking. There's space for 3 cars to park at the restaurant. They also provide a space for smokers to eat and smoke together. This place should be on your list of must-visit restaurants in Chennai.

Three Words - BEST HOT CHOCOLATE. So rich, so flavorful, so so chocolatey. They've got great food too - especially the Italian options. I found it a lil difficult to get to the place but once you're there, it's a super comfy set up. On Sundays, they have their fresh bakes too. The 7 layered Choco cake is to die for !

Fiery Prawns and Brownie shake, I'll go there again and again just to have these two. Thee best prawn fry I've ever tasted and the shakes here are so damn thick that you won't be able to drink it with a straw. Never come out of this place without trying any one of their desserts. It is a two storey house and the dining is present in the first floor. There is an outdoor space too in the first floor. They have created a beautiful ambience. The place becomes too noisy if there is a lot of crowd but if it less crowded then it a perfect place to have a great conversation with delicious food. Everything on the menu is a little bit pricey but worth the money.
