Trek To Valley of Flowers

Valley of flowers trek in Uttarakhand is one of the prettiest treks we have been to. Though the 4km trek is moderate, it takes a lot of planning to reach the valley. The trek through the lush green valley is breathtaking! Different flowers bloom in different months but August and September are the months of highest blooms when the valley is bathed in colours. The 4km route to the main point goes through rough path, river beds and loose cuves post which the path is plain. This path leads to Miss Leggy's grave, and one of the most beautiful spots of VOF. Timing-7 am entry and ticket window closes at 12pm. Valley shuts at 5pm so you have to start decending by 2pm. Trekking in VOF will be a memorable experience.
