Blue Poppy Resort

We had an amazing time at Blue Poppy Resort. Staff, food and service were just overwhelmingly.
We received a pre-arrival call, from Ashok who asked us proactively about our ETA, and as the rooms were available, he allowed us to checkin 30 mins before usual check in time, as we had infant along.
Food was next level, delicious and mouthwatering, which we did not expect to have at that altitude.
When we tend to get late for pur breakfast or dinner, the staff would call us to inform that the food is hot and we should be there immediately to enjoy hot food and also to avoid crowd in the restaurant for us to comfortably have our meals.
Breathtaking Views, spacious rooms, food and service makes this place more than 5 star.
We enjoyed being served by Harish Pandey, Sushil Mishra, Sabar Singh, Dharmendra Negi, Rahul and Niket.
We will recommend this resort to all we know and we will also be visiting again soon.

We had an amazing stay at Blue Poppy Resort Auli.
On Day 1, we were warmly welcomed, alloted rooms immediately as we wanted because we had an infant along. On all days, they have helped us with all our unorthodox requests also with smile and promptness. Food was delicious and homely. We are happy to be served by amazing people namely - Ashok in Front Office, Harish Pandey, Sushil Mishra, Dharmedra Negi, Sabar Singh, Rahul and Niket.
We will recommend this to all we know and we will also visit again and stay only in this amazing resort. The location makes it more suitable for all tourists as it is very close to the chair lift which takes you to the first snow and skiing point. It has beautiful Hanuman Mandir. Every room has a spectacular,breathtaking view of Second highest peak in India- Nandadevi, also peaks right in the front like Lotus Peak, HathiGhodaPalki peak, The peak where world's most highest Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib, all there right from the room window.
Must visit resort and place for all.

I had the most incredible stay at Hotel Blue Poppy in Auli, Uttarakhand! I can't say enough about the impeccable service and the delightful food area. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The rooms were cozy and offered breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The on-site dining experience was a culinary delight. I can't wait to return to this serene and hospitable haven. Five stars for sure!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We visited around 2nd week of Dec 23 n stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel is at very good location only thing is you have to climb few steep stairs to reach there, but you have to carry only your self 😀, carrying luggage is taken care by hotel staff.

Food is very good, Staff is fair to good.

Rooms are bit small. One major problem with the triple occupancy room is that there is no noise insulation from the adjacent room, you will feel somebody is speaking next to you. So avoid adjacent rooms if possible. Hot water supply is good though they have timings for hot water supply, can understand this as weather is harsh.

We got to see snow fall for good 5-6 hrs so that made our trip memorable. I feel if we had not got a chance to see snowfall we would be bit disappointed with the trip as there is nothing else to do here.

One thing that i didnt like is they take full balance amount at time of checkin, not sure why they do so but that makes you bit skeptical.

Hot water supply for 24 hours with geyser in room are essential for comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Blue Poppy Resort. The food was excellent with multiple varieties and served hot during breakfast and dinner.

The staffs were very friendly, well behaved and cordial particularly Ashoke and Sunil who took utmost care for our comfort and provided whatever we needed.

I have a personal request to Mr. Devkant. We were senior citizens and often needed wash room. For this 24 hours hot water was needed. If a geyser is installed in all the rooms with 24 hours water supply then I feel Blue Poppy Resort will be an excellent and exemplary hotel in Auli. I am sure he will be kind enough to look into the matter and do the needful.

We missed the snow fall but enjoyed the surroundings thoroughly including the cable chair lift.

Ms Anjali Madam arranged everything for our stay. We are thankful to her.

Personally I like to visit again to enjoy the beauty of snow covered peaks of mountains particularly Nanda Devi and if possible the snow fall and the cable chair lift.

Words will Never reflect the actual experience and the feeling one gets watching the majestic Himalaya this close, that too from within the comfort of this wonderfully located Blue Poppy Resort !!

One will feel blessed to wake up and find the Himalayas looking over you protectively and energising and vitalising you with the warmth of the rising sun !!! Getting this up close to the nature is made possible even for not so adventurous person like me only because of the kind souls who built this resort and made it accessible to all !!
The service is definitely good - with one person allotted to cater to you and the rest of the staff also rush in to help if needed! Rahul was outstanding and made us feel welcomed & comfortable !!

And the food is as pure, as complete, as holy as the entire surrounding! Their paneer is the best (hands down even when compared to restaurants of the major 5 star luxury hotels). Kudos to the chef for adding that very essential ingredient to making a resort stay interesting- esp when the soul is happy by being so close to the creation, a happy stomach just makes the whole experience complete !!

The location is just perfect, infact the resort is a destination in itself. We have all the peaks - Nanada Devi , Hathi Ghoda ,Palki, Brahamkamal, Neelgiri peak visible from every room. These beautiful views can be enjoyed with the delectable dishes offered by the resort.The cleanliness of the place needs special mention. Beautiful flowers add to the beauty of the place.

Blue poppy Resort was like heaven on earth. A must stay resort with beyond imagination views of the Himalayas. Nanda Devi view is amazing with flowers bloomed all over the resort. A dream come true. Close by is also the ski cable car, just experienced it for the fun of it.
