Best government hospital and infrastructure is good and doctors are good

Covid vaccination centre, OPD Complex 5th floor. Visited for getting my first dose after registration on Arogyasetu -Cowin app. Reached at appointed time. No crowds. Security staff allowed to proceed directly. Lifts functioning. Polite and courteous staff. Clean and hygiene environment. Good seating arrangements. The whole process took 25 minutes. Another 15 minutes in a restroom. Another section for resuscitation of patients who get anaphylaxis. Drinking water, hand washing and sanitizers available. In all, had a wonderful experience. Good, I didn't go to a private facility. Going early morning was beneficial. As I didn't drive a vehicle, cannot comment on issues of parking. My commendation to the Medical officer incharge and other staff members who are providing such facilities, free of cost. Maj Gen Krishan Chauhan. Retired from Army Medical Corps.

It’s the District hospital of Chandigarh Government of multi-speciality level. Doctors and staff is very nice and friendly with huge amount of experience. People of Chandigarh prefer going to GMSH 16 rather than going to any private hospital.
