Sagar Ratna has everything. All variety of foods are available.

The best is their South Indian food cuisine.

Their Dahi Vada is superb. Sweet, fresh, and minimal.

Combo options at affordable prices. Like Masala Dosa, Dahi Vada, and 1 drink in only Rs 350 or 390.

Masala Dosa was subtle and good.

Sambar was so yummy.

I am a fan of their completely simple coconut chutney. Tasty best tried.

Suji Upma was healthy and subtle again. Quantity was good as well.

Tomato Coconut Uttapam is lajawab. Yummy and savoury.

Filter coffee is best.

Food services are quick and seamless.

Their staff is understanding and easy to communicate with.

They have JAIN food available too. If you do not consume onion, garlic. They have your back.

Healthy, subtle, simply good food.

The atmosphere is peaceful.

The aesthetics of the restaurant is subtle as per the food vibe.

Cleanliness is 8/10

Washrooms are available.

Different payment options available.

The only thing I felt weak is the lighting at the restaurant. It seems dark. If proper lighting could be ensured that would be a plus point.

Best place to have south Indian dishes. Taste is just like the real south indian flavour. Their chutneys are fantastic. Ice cream Sunday's are my favourite. Filter coffee is just okay not so good.

Excellent place for south and north indian vegetarian food. Right at the end of the 35 sector food street this place offers good food at great prices.
Both Channa bhatura and masala dosa were great. The famous sahi bada was tasty but a little too sweet.
They have two floors and the ambience is nothing fancy.

They have changed thier name to shree suvarnam... N there is one sagar Ratna in the same lane too!!

My go to place for South Indian food.

Visited with my family a month ago where we did order differently. Totally vegetarian food available. North Indian, south Indian, Chinese, snacks, etc., were ordered and the taste was good. Nice sitting area also in the basement. Every family member can find something to eat as the menu includes food for everyone. But found the price offered was a bit on the higher side, but all in all good experience 🙂

Went for lunch with my wife and ordered butter masala dosa and paneer makhani butter dosa. We loved it so much and it was cooked with perfection. Servers were very friendly and ambience was great. South Indian filter coffee was the cherry on the cake.

I had ordered Vada , Dahi Vada , Dosa , Rajasthani thali and tea. Every dish was good. But South Indian dishes are very tasty.

It's a veg cuisine restaurant with a lot of options. The quality of food is excellent and the serving portion is also good. Good to go with family and friends!

Just love this place so much. I am a vegetarian and whenever it comes to dining out, "Sagar Ratna" is the only place that comes in my mind. The food is so delicious. Either you are a vegetarian or a non vegetarian, this place and the food will get you enchanted.

Amazing south Indian food, have tried different outlets for southIndian but this one has the authentic taste.

The restaurant is to the point best but the water there, both the types, didn't taste good enough, rest assured, you'll enjoy every rupee spent here.
The music there is good and the service is really fine.

The Ambience is very soothing tainted with light and music. Food is great especially South Indian pure vegetarian dishes. Very good service, employees are very humble, gentle and they serve us as we are in family function.

Found this place the best in Chandigarh for South Indian food. Decent restaurant, timely service and delicious food. Recommendations: Aloo Poori Kurma , Filter Coffee, Idli Sambhar are all a must try. Also loved Dosa and Sambhar Rice. Another plus point is that the menu has a variety and is quite affordable as well.

If you are expecting a good southern food especially dosa then this is the ideal place.. As they serve the good crispy dosas with Udupi sambar(made with special sambar powder consisting of grated coconut, roasted coriander seed and other spices) and spicy chutnies... After tired of eating north indian Rotis and paneer gravy... Finally found my south indian dosa and filter coffee.

Awesome South Indian food... Nice place to sit and have food.. Mainly food South Indian food only... North Indian lunch you can have up to 5 pm.. Aam panna, instant coffee, cold coffee, onion masala dosa we have tried. One advice is to spread the masala in onion masala dosa... It will be more effective in taste... Deluxe Thali is awesome in taste.. Daily they have today's special list..
