Nice supermarket. Their in house selection of dals etc. Is very good. You get almost all things of daily needs here. They also have a points system, although too minimal, but just a bit of an added discount. Most things are at a price lower than MRP. Good.place to fill in your kitchen pantry. Once we bought something that wasn't fit for used. We went back to the store and they accepted without a question, just checked their label on the packet, and gave us a new one. Pleasant and Helpful staff. Good selection of drinks, cheese, yogurts, coffee, green tea, ice tea, cold coffee, frozen stuff etc. also all sorts of toiletries and detergent

I have been going to this store with my parents since I was a kid back in the 90s when they had the store in Sector 26 grain market. Glad to find that they've expanded. The best thing is that they have evolved with time, made a modern supermarket store in sector 35 as well and yet manage to give good discounts on daily groceries. They have great variety, good prices, helpful and polite staff(some of them are with them since the beginning). I wish there were discounts on gourmet products as well.

After having lived in Metropolitan cities for more than a decade, finding a good supermarket (outside a mall) was a challenge in Chandigarh.
I found Haryana General Store by chance.

Pros -
A large collection & systematic display of groceries, staff speaks English (jaggery powder is not brown sugar), staff does not trail you like spies, you earn points for shopping for more than Rs 100 on every visit - more for cash payment, followed by card, none for e- payments, good location (paid parking).
The 2nd supermarket in Chd to stock choices in tampons, menstrual cups !

Cons -
Use of single use give away polythene bags.. nothing else !

Very Good, beautiful well arranged and well maintained GS. U will find items at reasonable price. They will give discount also.

Firstly, everything was quite neat and clean.
Secondly, all the staff was wearing masks.
Moreover, the employees were supportive at each and every counter.

My go to holy grail for everything! So quick and convenient for everyday grocery needs. They have so many things that other stores don’t have! A good fancy grocery store!
