Sir , I want to raise a complaint against a coaching centre in Chandigarh where I paid fees but did not attend classes and they are not refunding my fees..

Sir I want to file a case against byjus about my refund. Byjus not return my refund although I quit from there product on time with 15 days. They just ignore and no reply received from there side. Please help

The commission is constituted under Consumer Protection Act. The tribunals we're constituted to have petty issues of consumers resolved at priority but now the consumer litigation are alternate to main litigations. There are number of judgments which came from Supreme Court of India due to which the ambit has been enlarged to a great extent. State commission has jurisdiction to entertain the complaint where total subject matter is above 20 lakh and below 1 crores

Before formally filing a Consumer Complaint, it is desired that the Consumer gives notice to the opposite party of the fact of any deficiency in service or of unfair trade practice etc to see if the trader is willing to make good the loss suffered by either replacing the commodity or returning the value of the purchase. If yes, the issue resolves then and there. But if the trader refuses or neglects here that the consumers needs to approach the Consumer Court.
