Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. There cannot be enough said about this ground. The Eden Gardens is no doubt the oldest stadium in India but the cricketing cauldron of the country lies in the city of Mumbai. The stadium came into existence due to disputes between the CCI and the MCA, two cricketing bodies that have their offices in the city. The CCI-owned Brabourne Stadium was the main venue till then and some issues with MCA caused S.K.Wankhede, the secretary of the latter and also a politician to build a brand-new stadium.

With a capacity of around 33, 000 and a closed amphitheatre-type formation, it gets really loud at times. Short boundaries and a true pitch more often than not promise a good game.

Please avoid Sunil Gavaskar stands for One day and Test Matches as the sunlight it's unforgiving till 5 PM.

Do not carry coins, bags, food or bottles. Basically nothing extra is allowed.

Travel by train is recommended due to the lack of parking

This stadium has its own charm, Home to some legends.. very well organised stadium.. the MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) managed it so well… loads of options for food and beverages. also the toilets are clean… Directions every where to the strands.

Wankhede is the best place for a cricket fan to enjoy!!!!! I had gone there to watch IND vs SL in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. I luckily got the best view seats in the stadium and the atmosphere was absolutely electrifying. It is rightly called the Capital of Cricket!!!! Awaiting my next visit to Wankhede Stadium!!!!!!

Had a great experience in this stadium. We had a corporate league match here so we got a once in a lifetime opportunity to share the same dressing room which sachin sir had used.

Enjoyed it . It was my first experience of watching a cricket match in stadium . If you discover in one word : fabulous . All the fan chearing and mexican wave , loud musical DJ and many more . Wonderful experience. Get to know the true skills of player . Wankhede stadium facilities were great, and the supporting staff were very professional at their work . If you are a cricket fan you must visit a cricket stadium atleast once in your life and I got the apportunity to go to wankhede and fell the vibes.

Wankhede stadium 🏟 is huge and the seating capacity of people👫 is something 3500 people. It was situated in CHURCHGATE STATION and one of the famous places in Mumbai that is marine drive the stadium is too near from the marine drive last to last 1 min you can reach the stadium. And one thing is the security is too Hard when you enter from the main gate some security officers are there to check the bags and person also when they clarify than you can go the stand and enjoy the match with your loved ones .

Stadium very good lots of ventalition clean but the vendor's selling bisleri at 100 rs an two samosas for 70 rs of third grade should not be allowed on sitting areas where all the viewers have to go for lots of security check but this people selling infiror quality eatables pls take some action

Amazing ground, good facilities (relative to other grounds in India), and balanced pitch, which gives good contests. Most of all, electric atmosphere!! And last but not least, the ground where Kohli scored 50th 100!!!

stadium was superb and to be honest, this was my first experience of seeing some international match with my own eyes. And this also became my first memory ""Se you wankhede we'll back soon with some new extra energy"" and all you guys who are planning to watch match from stadium please don't bring any type of accessories only Mobile's phone are allowed.

Recently watch Afghanistan vs Australia worducp match witnessed the maxwell iconic inning one of the best match in ODI cricket history. I ever seen great experience at Wankhede the iconic Stadium

The stadium is too good to watch live match but the live score is only we can see from one screen and as I am at Sachin Tendulkar stand,so from there you cannot see score and screen clearly
