Passport Office Chandigarh : Want to renew my passport on urgent basis so have booked an appointment and it went smoothly with the committed TAT. Everybody should reach bit early here because of crowd. They will accept all the Indian government docs on counters 2 3 and 4. Every counter is taking the Xerox documents with original copies and then giving you the token. Token number will be displayed in the led TV & also announcing the token number or name.. In the office ATM is there, accepting only cash. Staff was very polite and helpful. Before enter the place please carry all the original doc's and their Xerox. Wheelchair accessible parking (First come first serve basis).

All went good, the staff was very polite and the process took 2 hours to complete. My appointment was at 9AM yesterday, so didn’t faced crowd outside the building. Just carry all your original documents and their Xerox with you. Their a restaurant (Dhaba), about 50-60 metres of the office building, you can have Breakfast/lunch there. Also there’s a cyber cafe adjacent to the restaurant, you can get coloured printouts etc. there … Good service 👍

Visited today for renewal of passport of my son minor. such a smooth and streamlined process. I was a bit apprehensive after reading all the negative reviews. But trust me it went off so smoothly and it took me just 40-50 minutes to complete the entire process.

Best experienced. Gate opens at 0830.
First batch of timing 0845 entered at 0835.
Reached on third floor and shown ID and got line number.
Stand in given line for 5 minutes only, document checked and sent to another room with token no.
Wait for 5 minutes and got my turn.
Went to counter, verified docs and scanned fingerprints and taken photo by professional staff.
Again docs verified on B counter.
At last docs verified by A counter and received msg finally.
Very fast working and polite staff.
Taken only 50 minutes to make a fresh passport. Will be delivered after police verification.

Ok the report. All staff is good and peaceful. Parking facility is available. But outside the parking.

It's right behind the shiv mandir. Walkable distance from Tribune Chowk. Take online appointment before coming. If you have any issues they have a toll free number you can contact there.

I was having appointment on 27 jan 2023.
There was little rush at token counter, which lead to confusion during documents check, but the staff was to humble , after getting token number A2 cabin was alloted to me she was too kind and having good communication skills. Overall experience was excellent 👍.

I had a really nice experience at PSK-Chd.
Behaviour of staff was nice as well.

Staff is very cooperative. Drinking water , zerox machine , baby care room everything is available there . Don't trust any fake comments .

I visited over here.. The employe are very polite. My all wrok was done in 35 min approximately. I would like to suggest you take the print out of your original document as there is only 1 machine and the rush was huge... So it beeter to take the photo state copy before going to passport office.

Though they say not to print application and that the sms will suffice, plz print the application and take as all timing and token numbers will be written on it... The young ladies working there are very respectful and very efficient.. everyone one is caring and go out of the way to help.. the photostat guy there too is very nice and charges Rs 1 for each photocopy, but he is always short of change ,, so make sure u r carrying change . . Overall an excellent experience .. total time taken since start to finish was 35 mins..
