One of the best vegetarian places for food conniseours. Excellent taste added with numerous varieties. Meticulously clean, No disturbances but unfortunately lesser staff from local state. Food served though by choice had more of North Indian flavours.

I am so glad to have found this lovely abode during our visit (me with my wife) to this city.
It is located in a very prime area and 10min from the Hyd Deccan railway Terminus.
The place is simply cozy and aptly comfortable. The hotel staff is cooperative and thoroughly service oriented.
They also have a restaurant which serves great vegetarian food.
A full 10/10 for making my visit memorable 💐

The main reason for selecting this hotel was the parking space as we drove from Chennai. The hotel had a large spacious parking lot. The location of the hotel is the icing on the cake. Invariably, Hyderabad has minimal choices of restaurants for vegetarians but Hotel Taj Mahal, Abids is an exception. They have a wonderful restaurant inhouse., Should accept that the restaurant is pretty expensive, given the choices of food and the quality, it is lucrative. The rooms are small but maintained well. The receptionist and the room service executives are very courteous and service-oriented. The room tariffs are very nominal. The restaurant room service, especially for beverages, is quick,. Breakfast, and buffet (Chargeable) had a decent spread and taste.

The only negative I could find in the hotel is the parking security. They did not direct us properly for parking however were interested in taking the tips only. Otherwise, I won't think twice about staying at the Taj Mahal Abids the next time.

Excellent service excellent pricing excellent quality of food excellent taste. I have been visiting this restaurant since I was a kid and I always fail to find a mistake. Even I'm the busiest days their crowd management skills are amazing. They never leave a customer unsatisfied.

This is more of a restaurant and function hall rather than a hotel to stay. It serves top quality vegetarian mainly south Indian food along with some Punjabi food. There is always a crowd and one may have to wait though they have a lot of seats, most are occupied. Excellent place to visit for meals too. There ample parking at the site. Most visitors may think it's part of Taj Mahal mumbai. There is mo relationship between the two.

Amazing place. Great hospitality. Clean rooms. Had all the amenities. The star attraction of this hotel is the buffet breakfast they serve. It's absolutely delicious. They have many south Indian varieties. With sweets and confectioners too. And fruits, juice, buttermilk. We stayed for 5 nights and it was the best experience ever.

One of the old landmarks of Hyderabad. Must try breakfast point. Do visit this place if you are in Hyderabad. Button Idli and button Vada not to be missed.

One the oldest Hotels in Hyderabad u can call it Heritage food quality and rooms are well maintained in heart of the city...i love the food of this place its always the same keeps improving never disappointed must for veg lovers...

Staying here was really good experience. Location is awesome for any place to visit. Everything is nearby and aprochable except Ramoji film city. Rooms and service is really good. I would say you should try breakfast in their restaurant. Variety of breakfast and really tasty. There is no bad thing I observed to point out.
In low budget you can almost experience 5 star mumbai Taj.

Taj Mahal Hotel, ABIDS is situated in heart of Hyderabad City. This hotel is good option for family. Rooms are nice and big. It is having nice vegetarian restaurant with good taste and quality.

Very nice heritage hotel located in old city of Hyderabad. I was little hesitant to book after seeing the review but good that I made a choice to go ahead. Lot of trees within the compound gave homely feeling.

I've been told how good the good is at Taj Abid's for a while. I went in expecting a modest affirmation of the hype but I was blown away by the quality and taste of the food! The place has retained its old time charm with the seating and semi secluded cabins but is still producing stuff that is rocking the palate. You can see so many senior citizens there, no doubt people who have been frequenting the Cafe for a long time. Had onion dosa and plain dosa and this was probably among the best breakfast I have had in Hyd.

Must say authenticity at its best along with very comfortable stay. Mouth watering food and so well organised that everyone will have a wow awesome experience for sure. Must visit and highly recommended

One of my favourite restaurant in Hyderabad. Spaceous and clean rooms. Decent staff, quality food, awesome service. Totally it's worth the money spent.

We dined at this iconic hotel and ordered some south indian food loke uthappa, idli, and sambar rice. You will never go wrong in ordering south indian food from this hotel.

It is a 70+ year old hotel that must have seen a great change over the decades.

With everyone owning a car, parking will be a challenge for car owners.

As always and as expected the taste is perfect.
But a minor notice this visit is that , size of masala dosa has decreased.

Visited the Taj Mahal restaurant after many years. It is the same after many years. But the parking situation seems to have improved a lot.

It is a cosy place with an old day charm in the food, the seating and the waiting staff.

I ordered a South Indian thali ( if a thali is available, i rarely order anything else). The others ordered dosas.

The service is super quick. The thali was great with pooris, dal, aloo, other curries, curd and raita. Add the fried butter milk chillies and papad.

It came with an interesting beetroot halwa which i avoided to start off, but then i was served a bowl of mango ice cream. I rarely eat the desserts but one taste of that ice cream and i was hooked. Just ate the whole thing and no guilt.

I am going to go back just for the ice cream someday.
