One of the beautiful places to visit in Hyderabad city. A boat ride is an added experience. You will be required to go through Lumbini park to the Buddha statue. Lumbini park entry ticket is 20 rupees and another 50 rupees for a boat ride to the Buddha statue for adults. Minimum two hours is a good time to visit this location.

Such a peaceful place! You have to take a ferry ride across the Hussain Sagar in order to reach this statue of Lord Buddha. The ride is really exciting and the area surrounding the statue is beautiful. In the evening it appeals even more because of the lights. Must visit if you are in Hyderabad 🌟

The Buddha Statue in Hussain Sagar is the largest monolithic statue in our country. I have added a photo that gives more details besides other photos. Please have a look.

It is a beautiful white statue that gets lit up by night. There are passenger boats available for Rs. 50/- per person, that takes us across to the Buddha statue site. Passengers can disembark there and look around the statue. The place has been adorned with lights and fountains to make it more appealing. You can also look and click around the lake front.

Evenings are light breezy and make for a wonderful evening.

Please note- you have to first get a ticket for R.20/- to enter Lumbini Park (the actual site) and then get the tickets for your boating from a counter therein. There are passenger boats, speedboats, dancing boats.....

There are eateries around the area. So go ahead, enjoy!!

It's a solid place to visit through a boat, have some fun and click some pics. Daytime is best for photos, and night time is best for views. Nevertheless, it is a good place to visit at any time of the year. You can eat, roam around the statue and roam around the park too.

This is a beautiful Buddha
Statue situated in middle of the Hussain Sagar lake in a small Island. We have to take a ferry in order to reach here. Night time lighting makes it look even more beautiful. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Buddha statue serves as a powerful symbol of spiritual awakening. It acts as a constant reminder to seek inner peace, wisdom, and compassion in the midst of life's challenges.

A ticket is required for the boat ride to visit the Buddha statue. In night the lightings will be excellent and nice places to spend on holidays.Get a ferry boat ₹50 to go near the statue which you can take from Lumbini Park. Recommended to go near sunset to capture exquisite nighttime views of Birla Temple, government secretariat, and other views of Hyderabad. 😍🤩😍🤩

Once you reach the location of the statue, you will undoubtedly be enveloped by a delightful atmosphere. However, the journey to the destination via boat can be a bit overwhelming due to the substantial crowds. Even on a weekday, when my companions and I visited, there was a significant influx of local people eager to explore the site. Nevertheless, the breathtaking view of the nearby secretariat building was truly awe-inspiring. I highly recommend visiting this place in the evening, after sunset, as the illuminated lights on the Buddha Statue create a mesmerizing spectacle that should not be missed.

The craftsmanship of the statue is impressive, and it radiates a sense of tranquility that's hard to describe. It's a wonderful place for introspection and meditation, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I'd recommend visiting during the evening when the statue is beautifully lit up, creating a magical ambiance.
