Oottupara Tourist Spot Alapra

A place to visit in the evenings ..It can be reached after a trek of about 1.5 - 2km through the forest. The forest is surrounded on all sides by human habitation, and there are no dangerous animals inside. The view from the top is amazing. The people from the surrounding areas are also just starting to know this place .. So the environmental pollution is very low .. Don't expect anything more .. A place to go and sit in peace ..

Great place for nature lovers. There is a short 1km walk from the parking area. The pathway is well marked. Lot of spectacular views of mountains. Good during sunrise and sunset. Not crowded so one can enjoy nature in peace.

Visual beauty ❤💕 please don’t put any plastic in there. Need to walk around 1km like 15 min you’ll get a nice forest trucking for free 😊

First of all this is inside reserve forest and trespassing may cause problems. So try to get permission.
There is nothing much to expect but It is a little walk through the forest and it is so beautiful. And view from the top of the rock is amazing. You can peacefully sit and enjoy the beauty. Go carefully as there may be leeches(rainy season), snake etc. Dont bring plastic, lighter etc.

Walk through the forest like area for nearly 1.5km to enjoy the view point at the end. Remember to not throw any plastic here and destroy the natural beauty of this area. Good to carry snacks, water, umberalla etc for the trip.

One day away from your daily chores...jus be here and enjoy the breeze. Elderly people and small kids are not recommended but those who can make themselves uphill must not miss the view from top. Early mornings and evenings are the good times to be here. Donot litter .

Oottupara View Point Kottayam Kerala IndiaA little known hamlet, tucked away in the southeast corner of district. Alapra is surrounded by lush forests. Alapra is located 45 km from Kottayam. It is located 5 km from Manimala Junction and 10 km from the well known pilgrim destination of Erumeli. The rock can be reached by trekking from the temple for three km. it is believed that Lord Rama visited this place and conducted a feast for saints at this place during his exile. The rock top offers stunning views for miles round. Behind this oottupara, there is a similar rock face also.

A place that so much relied to nature and we have to walk a distance of 1.5 km to reach the viewpoint and trust me,it will be one of the best walk you had in your life. The sound of nature and the lovely atmosphere makes it even more beautifull to hang there. A must try place in pathanamthitta district and you can visit the place with your fam and friends.

You can park ur vehicle (both 4 wheeler & 2 ) and walk upto 1 km through the forest to get the view point ..afterl all its a nys walk through the woods.. and also some adventure mood narrow path ways... U can walk through their any time but at the view point its good to hav at evngs or mrngs ...aftr a must visit spot if u love forests

Oottupara, located 3 km near to Alapra junction, 1.5 km we need to drive inside and then around 1.5 kilometer trecking inside the forest we will reach Ootupara. Walking though the forest will give a very pleasent fealing and it calm down our mind.

It is a part of ponthanpuza forest.15 minute walk through the jungle to reach there. It's a small good/ nice location for Pre wedding photoshoot

We have to walk through dense forest for 20 minutes. Don't go after 4pm since it becomes dark otherwise. The view from the para is nice.

Very nice place.... Calm and quiet.... lots of small birds and plenty of flowers and trees with fully under shadow. Avail small stream also.

Just walk through the forest in 1 .5km, words cannot express how grateful.. ambience of the forest ❤🥰🥰🥰🥰

I don't think google maps shoes the right destination. I ended up in someone's backyard.
