Heavenly feel on the top of the rocks. At first we may feel it will be impossible to climb. But it's an easy task with family and children. One of the must visit places in Vagamon. Foggy climate is gorgeous.

It's a mountain peak with a beautiful view. If the climate permits, a very nice spot to visit. But one needs to climb up the mountain which may not be easy for all. Elderly people are not advisable. The spot is open from morning 8am to evening 6pm. Entry is stopped by around 5pm. It is also a religious place that belongs to muslims.

Thangal para is a religious place and beuitful adventure place. The thangalkunnu climbing is a interesting journey to the top end.

It is a beautiful tourist attraction..1km from pine forest..on way to mottakunn tgere is a small road to left of main road 100 metres through it,reach the mosque. Beautiful climate and winds.
We should walk through the rocks for about 500metres. Marking are therr.
opens from 10am to 6pm.. careful when walking through the high rocks.. climbing down is little harder than climbing up..if you had fear to climb down ,just sit and move slowly through rocks.. The marking will lead to the maqbara,where you can see the tomb and pray there. stay quiet near the tomb. There is a unending waterfall near the tomb,which you can drink.

Went there on a rainy day and i saw this. It was an awesome experience❤❤❤❤❤. The wind was so high that my umbrella got bend. So an advice dont use umbrellas while climbing up. It was soo foggy that i couldnt see anything 4 mtrs away from me. Climbing up the mountain was a risky task. The security closes the gate for entry to thangal para early, like around 4 or 5, if its a rainy day and if there is too much mist and fog. Also the time to stay at thangal para will be limited to 1 hr then.

It's one of the most attractive TOURIST DESTINATIONS and as well as a Muslim pilgrimage in the vagamon of Idukki district and it is situated at an altitude of 2500m

A Sufi Saint, Sheikh Fariduddin, is also believed to have lived on the hill till he died about 8 centuries ago. The stone is believed to be used by the saint. After his death, the stone grew in size. The tomb of the saint is located just next to this unique stone.(reference from Google)

Cant explain in words.. You should feel it.. Never miss it.. In our third wagamon trip only we experienced this.. Avoided it before thinking it wont be nice.. No photos or videos can show the beauty.. You should experience it.. ❤❤

I visited this place on december first. We face a small rain on the way of thangalpara.when entering the thangalpara we felt the air conditioner of nature here.parking is available.no entry pass...only parking fee 10rupees for two wheeler.awesome feel with heavy wind... Take care if the wind is too heavy just sit there.this is a tourist place as well as a pilgrimage center too...Thangal the name is related to muslim religion...no restaurant is here..at the top of thangalpara we can see the whole city.Arrow marks are marked there on the rocks.washrooms available..Three pilgrimage center for three different religion

These three are located near by near.

Best time for spending evening and can enjoy the beautiful sunset. I recommend all that must enjoy the ride in left side small road of thangal para. You will got memorable ride in that route.

One of the best places my eyes ever witnessed. A mountain full of rocks and you have to be careful while moving through the rocks. There is peak rock which surface area is comparatively very less and the view and feeling from there is inexplicable. This is a holy place and if you're a muslim you have to wear according. Non muslims are only not allowed to visit the mosque and the grave all other places can be visited.

Nice weather on top of the rocks. Thangalpara is a good destination to stay for cool breeze and nice weather . Walking to the top of the rocks is little adventures.

Cool breeze at 12 noon on may is not common for an andhrawala.
We get only in a powerful air conditioner room these days.😛

Must visit place for anyone comes for a oru nd in vagaman.Actually this place more explosive beyond the thangal para.When we are on the visit over there it was raining and also it was too foggy out there still we walked into three mountains over there.This was actually an unforgettable experience for us because everything which went unplanned.And someone comes over here it will be unique if you go through this place. 💓💓

Climbing the hills to reach there will be a little adventurous, The fog and drizzle will accompany you....when you reach at thangalpara the view will fill your heart the divinity
