Shivaji Maharaj's most significant legacy was the creation of the Maratha Empire, which, for all practical purposes, destroyed the military and economic strength and prestige of the Mughal Empire.
He is God for us, and till the last breath, he will remain the same!
In his honour, Govt has kept the place well-maintained. There is enough space for days of national importance celebrations and many more.
Major revamping of the place was done when Honourable Uddhav Thakrey became the CM of Maharashtra.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak or Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Memorial is a monument under construction dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the 17th century Indian warrior king and founder of the Maratha Empire. The statue will be located in the Arabian Sea, near the coast of Mumbai, Maharashtra.Memorial construction is expected to be completed by October 2022.Maharashtra state Public Works Department (PWD) and the environment clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change were awaited for the undersea metro rail link from Cuffe Parade to Shiv Smarak.

In August 2021, the project was stalled since January 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only the bathymetry survey complete while the geotechnical survey was underway. Consequently, state PWD proposed extending project completion date by a year from 18 October 2021 to 18 October 2022.

It's kind of entrance to Mumbai Outlook ....but the statue and the fort made around it looks real historic....love to see Chhatrapati Shivaji always real hero...with witty 🧠

There is model of all forts of the shivaji Maharaj. Another beauty is model of Maharashtra Map. I never saw such model of Maharashtra map before. This main circle to enter chembur and pune. One of the busiest circle.

The statue of shivaji Maharaj is so beautiful. Shivaji Maharaj riding horse along with other soldiers (Mawala). There is statue of Elephant which is another beauty of this place.

Best place with one of largest terminus of central railways...best time is night.its glory and beauty is lit in night. Opposite to CST is Mumbai corporation building which also is delightful with colored lights in evening

A very informative and huge collection to be patiently seen. Well maintained. Take out a whole day and plan out. You will need to walk a lot so be prepared. The cafeteria services are lesser than what you would expect.

The area has wonderful architecture, has the gateway of India, and one of the 3 ports of the world. Anybody who appreciates art would love the architecture of the area which was made back in 1900s something.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is at a main junction in Chembur and I often pass by either to Pune or from Pune by bus. It is a very busy road to people just view it from a vehicle or from the opposite side of the roads as it is closed off. It is eye-imposing and very scenic and serves as a tribute to the great Maratha warrior Shivaji and also contributes to the history and lore of Maharashtra. It looks like a castle with soldiers, tigers, elephants and horses – more like a set from a film.

His name is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, whose name makes the blood run when he hears it. This is the super place of our Maharashtrian identity

One of the most crowded but well maintained airports in India. The Loyalty Lounge for International Departures is very pathetic. It was getting hot inside and felt as if the AC is not working. Food options were also not that great.
