Can experience great scenic views of Edamalayar dam .Not sure if its open throughout the year.It gots it name "vysali cave " as famous malayalam movie VYSALI's shooting was done here.Roads leading to this place are narrow but a normal car can reach easily near the tunnel and all.

Nice and awsome view of dam from the cave..... No proper road to cave but it is dark and cool inside.. Beware of bats

The cave was constructed to reach the project area for the construction of the dam as part of the Idamalayar hydroelectric project. Construction started in the 1970s. The 550-meter long tunnel was constructed by merchants, including those involved in construction of the dam.

Great place but turists are restricted to this place we can see this cave in Malayalam films like vysali,idukki gold etc.this cave got it's name after the bharathan movie vysali.,because most part of the film was taken in near by places of this cave

Please walk from cheruthoni dam to idukki dam in that way we can see vysali cave and enter it
