Palozhukum Para Waterfalls

Palozhukum para waterfall is a good location to visit when in vagamon . It can be reached by any vehicle , after reaching the fall you can only witness it from a far distance and cannot go near it . Weather was awesome at the time, when we visited the place .

Unique style water falls. Amazing view. Not allowed to enter the waterfalls, we can watch from road.

Better visit this place at rainy season.The view of this waterfalls from Varattumedu top is awesome..

It was attractive hilly area. Location was great and perfect for one day picnic. Small but nice hill. Enjoyed lot with friends. Took many memorable photos.

Wonderful place to spend some quality time with your loved ones..the view is absolultely breathtaking...the water fall is so calm and relaxing..nice spot for taking some photos...not at all crowded..the place is on the way from wagamon meodows to palozhukum pura waterfalls..vehicles can be parked on the road side.

Good place for a single day trip for family from ernakulm and nearby places,
The place has become one of the tourist attractions now, so that lots of people have been doing this treck, it's a easy- medium treck

One of the best waterfall in vagamon, the ways are very slippery but the view form the bottom is very thrilling, we can bath in the top of the water fall

Awesome place, 1 old lady try to get amount from you, she said I am the owner you should pay, 30rs. Per head. She don't have any token/tickets, apart from wonderful place to see.

One of the best water fall. It's very attractive, the water running smoothly over the hillside. Normally all the Waterfalls are fall from high depth. But lots of people don't know, this place exists in vagamon, and they are missing it. You must add this next time. Also you can enter pine Forest backside on the way to here. So no need to go over the other side. From mottakkunnu to pine Forest backside then to palozhukum para waterfalls.

Nice and calm place to visit. Can't go near the waterfall but it is clearly visible from far. There is no proper navigation boards and all but the natives there are very much helpful to to show us the right way.

Nature's beauty

Palozhukum Para is the name of this waterfall at Vagamon. This water fall is visible from the road also. I think many peoples visit it from the road only. There is a walking way to reach this place. Vagamon Having some other waterfalls too but those places are only able to reach by Jeep.
At a distance of 10 km from Vagamon Bus Stop, Palozhukumpara Waterfall is a picturesque waterfall situated close to the lower Pine Forest in Vagamon. Also known as Vagamon Falls, it is one of the beautiful waterfalls in the region, and among the must-visit tourist places in Vagamon.

Vagamon Falls or Palozhukum Para waterfall is a small stream that springs up at a lake. The stream cascading down the ravine is a sight to see with the luxuriant hills merging with the dense forests. The route to the fall is popular amongst the trekkers.

There is no path that leads to the falls, hence visitors can't go actually near the falls. One can see it from a far distance separated by a barbed-wire fence surrounding private property. Post-monsoon is the best time to visit the fall when it looks big and great.

Timings: 6 AM to 6 PM

You can enjoy its beauty from the roadside and its amazing to see clear water pouring down like milk from the rocks. Could not get near to it,we just stopped by the roadside, took some pictures and left. There was no proper parking and I don’t know whether there is any other access to the spot. It’s not worth spending too much time

Best place to view waterfall and pineforest , easily reached to pineforest , also better view of pineforest with waterfall

As the name says the entire falls looks milky white.Wonderful falls and with a great view. Bathing was restricted during the time when I visited due to some accident.

A great waterfall at a fantastic location

The roads are all good till this point except for a short rough patch at the vagamon- 4th mile road

Parking can be done by the side of the road
The entry is by the side of a very small bridge at the end of the road
The path eventually leads to the home of a lady who told us that it was a pvt property and that there is a pass of Rs 30 per person to reach the waterfalls

We paid and went down to see one of the most fabulous waterfalls i have ever seen in my life

There is not much to walk till the falls
But a bit of tricky descent was there

In short, it was a pleasant and thriling experience for all of us

I highly recommend families and youngsters to visit this place

It might be difficult for some late middle aged and senior citizens

Best time to visit is in the morning or at evening time

The waterfall is visible from the road itself. There is a small way to go near it, it was a bit lonely area, so better go in groups.

Wonderful views. Nice place to watch. Dont try to wander below the falls during rains. Very dangerous. The views are spectacular during rains.

Consider this falls while you visit Vagamon.

Sorry.. In April season we don't see Water.. Just Dry Falls...
But Location is Awesome...
