We've had our lunch from here. Which is tasty and lot in quantity for the money I paid. We ordered duck roast and beef roast. both were extremely delicious and very good portion for 2 people. Gravy of both curries were really spicy and it was good with rice . This place is easy to locate. They have indoor and outdoor dining

This is a great spot to eat some good shop food and get good toddy within Ernakulam town. Here you have the facility to eat and drink toddy while enjoying the beauty of the lake. You can eat food both inside and outside. The roast pork here is really good. Also available are Duck Carp Appam Kappa Poth and other dishes

Must visit, the only local authentic one we could find close to the urban parts of Kochi.
Karimeen Fry is a must try, Tody was good too.

I don't think a local is looking at this review so let me cut right to the chase and say that if you're an out of towner looking for the traditional toddy drinking experience, this is the place to go. This place is about good toddy served in a minimally furnished compound. They were supremely nice about catering to us as vegetarians and whipped us up some tapioca and a red chutney. The toddy was tasty and 2-3 glasses of it is going to get you nice and buzzed. We spent about 500 bucks for 4 people, and you can't beat that value :p Forget about everything else and go enjoy the experience:D

Memorable experience with family for Lunch, Had Tapioca, Rice, Duck Curry, Fish pollichathu and fish curry, Duck Curry is a must try dish. Good service and affordable prices. Lake side view seats with basic facility and wash areas. Only cash payments are accepted. Car parking is available without assistance nearby for free.

One of the must try toddy shops nearby to Kochi. The location is mentioned in the Google maps. The food served here is very tasty with some coconut toddy. Duck curry, Beef curry with idiyapam and Appam is best. Another must try is Kappa with Squid curry. The location is perfect for a good vibe weekend with friends and family. Awesome ambience. Prices are a bit to the higher side.

Must visit if you love to have some spicy adventure with a little toddy 😉. The road to this location is a little narrow but once you reach there, people are very welcoming and entertaining. It will be a great place to try out the toddy shop vibe with your family and friends. Every dish they presented was outstanding (only if you love spicy), do ask them and they will let you know what's their best they can present to you. Drink responsibly 🍻

Laid back toddy shop which is family friendly and woman friendly. They don’t take upi or card so make sure to take cash. Ample parking available as long as it’s not too busy.

Has a wide range of non veg dishes. Toddy was fresh. Visited the place 10 yrs before. The ambience was more pleasant earlier. The place is too crowded.

Was a bit crowded to be seated outside so got a seat inside. Tried a few curries with Kappa and Appam. All of them were good to taste and would recommend to give it a try. Hygiene neatness and behaviour goes with 6/10. For food I'll give 9/10. Pics attached.

Old shop setup. Nothing much in comfort. Top notch in food taste. Best toddy I've ever had so far. Side dishes were too delicious. Spice level is high here.

The food and the ambience is just wonderful ..was in the area from 5 days and had lunch here everyday...The toddy was fresh and very tasty...Had the beef roast and fry...prawns...oysters....the crab was just heavenly...If in and around the area...Don't miss this for anything.

This place is an absolute beauty.🧡 I went there with someone's recommendation and thought I will recommend them in google, this place is a place worth going to. They take UPI payments as well.

The four of us old friends decided to take a food break here, during a rare get together. And it was worth it. Had kallu, kakka erachi, Meen thala, kappa, beef fry etc. All tasty and worth a try. Kallu is very mild, and doesn't easily inebriate. Situated by the lake- ambience is good. They have outdoor tables by the shade of coconut trees. A bit of advice- try to reach by at least 12 noon, as on holidays it gets really crowded, and space, including parking, is limited. It is family friendly- a lot of families visit here.

Important to note: they accept cash only/ no UPI/no cards. Pretty authentic shaap food. Lot of variety. Very spicy. Toddy was very tasty. Amazing location,the outdoor seating has backwaters on two sides. The road leading to the place is pretty narrow. Sufficient parking on the adjacent plot. For 6 people it cost 2200/- which is pretty reasonable. Memorable experience overall.
