The hospital is a NABH accredited multi specialty set up and one of the best affordable eye hospital in India. The hospital offers various eye care services such as cataract surgery, cornea transplant, glaucoma treatment, retina surgery, and child eye care. The hospital is very neat & clean, supportive staff, good work environment, and skill development centre for interns and junior doctors. The hospital has advanced equipment and facilities for diagnosis and treatment. Appointment should be booked well in advance for the specific doctors, you can also get the same day appointment but for that you have to come to hospital early in the morning around 5 AM. The same day appointment is first cum first basis. Consultation fee is low compared to other hospitals with best eye care services.
For complete eye check up it would take around 4-5 hours, but the process is very structured. It follows with multiple rounds of consultations and investigations before senior doctors review the case. Doctors are very cooperative, spend time with patients and explain the diagnosis in details.
Hospital has non AC and AC cafeteria with serve hygienic food with verity of dishes at reasonable price.

Sunday is closed for OPD.
There is limited parking and it’s free.

L V Parsad Eye Institute is well recognised tertiary care centre for all eye related diseases. Except for few things overall experience and services were remarkable. They have many centres across the city and country and provide highly specialised care for almost all ophthalmic sub specialities. Armed with all recent technologies, diagnostic & therapeutic equipments and team of super-specialists doctors, provides highly superspecilised eye care. They have dedicated vision rehabilitation center for low vision. I consulted Dr Manjushri Bhate and Dr Deepak Bagga, and both were very cooperative and empathetic. They explained me the diagnosis and treatment in detail. The only two negative point is that we need to spend ample of time waiting for our turn and need a whole day for the complete OPD consultation. We can understand the long waiting time as hospital caters huge number of patients from all over the country. Second issue is that for follow up visits it is very hard to get appointments early, so if you are planning for a follow up visit take an appointment well in advance, at least a month ago.
I request hospital management if they can improve on these two aspects by implementing better queuing system to cut short the waiting time during consultation and to hasten the appointment system for easy appointments at earliest.

Very good eye care center. Many of them visit for regular checkup and operations. Reasonable prices. Operations done for poor people which is good sign.
Previously only one hospital was there but now at different places they opened centres. Insurance is also accepted. Government employees of other states should check about insurance coverage by approaching or calling them.
Past 20 years me and my family members go there itself for check up.
Go only after taking appointment so that time will be saved. After taking appointment every thing goes systematically.
Should have patience and wait for our turn.

Very much renowned and trustworthy institute it is. Doctors are very much efficient,well mannered, having friendly behaviour. Assistants,co ordinarors are also very good person, helpful,their behaviour is very much impressive. Their diagnostic procedures , appointment procedures very fast.

On 10 th Dec I was at Lv Prasad institute ,due to chemical exposure to my eye .As soon as they noticed I was reported immediately to emergency wing and in a couple of minutes docters assisted me.
After the treatment and medication I was discharged .

I bought my mother to the institute and felt astonished to see the kind of services provided to the patients.
