Excellent choices of thalis..Rajasthan.. Gujarati..maharashtrian.
Mr vivek bhanushali was so hospitable. We have been visiting this lovely place since 1990.
We were fortunate to meet Mrs Arya..so gracious and welcoming...humility galore.
The thali was amazas always..starters with small batata vadas dhokla samosa...accompaniments of buttermilk...koshambir...spread of cauliflower bhaji..brinjal masala..rajma..dal..kadhi..fattfata..spinach..rotlas of jowar bajra..puranpoli..chapatis...with pure ghee..difficult to do justice to the spread....wow mesmerizing taste with nutrition..the team is awesome..but every visitor respects ma annapoorna and food is never wasted...finger bowls to clear the helping handsvto finish it followed by mukhwas especially the pomegranate rock salt (like jeeragoli)...me and my husband enjoyed the visit after almost 5 years and felt gratitude for the experience.
A must visit for the best thalis..very reasonably priced...in mumbai..

One of the oldest and finest Vegetarian Restaurant near Kala Ghoda Area. They serve amazing Maharashtrian thali, Gujarati Thali and Rajasthani Thali. They also have a bookstore.

Probably the best thali I have ever had in recent times. The Rajasthani thali as well as the Gujarati thali were superb. The restaurant is really hygienic and the food served is fresh thus making the experience a whole lot better. The waiters and manager are really sweet. Must try if you are on the lookout for a thali in town!

A perfect place for thali lovers so many different types of thali. It a pure vegetarian restaurant with quick service.

A place where you get all types of Thali from Gujarat to Maharashtra to Rajasthan. So many varieties in one place with lauki halwa and fruit custard is just icing on the cake.

Must try for the vegetarian food lovers…the authentic taste and flavours of different regions are an absolute delight.

We had the Classic thali and the Maharashtrian thali here and it was simply amazing! The thalis really brought out the distinct flavours of each of the cuisines and highlighted them well! The manager of the place was really welcoming and hospitable and made out lunch a pleasant experience. Would recommend to everyone!

the food here is AMAZING. since they serve thalis, i thought that there's no way all the dishes will be delicious but I was wrong! the hospitality is really great, it feels like you're at your relatives' house because the people are very kind. washroom is very sanitary which is a huge plus point while exploring bombay. overall girl, it's absolutely worth it and the desserts are incredible :)

Delicious food, great service, very reasonable prices, pleasant ambiance. We had Rajasthani and Gujarati thalis - unlimited food portion. There's an outlet selling handicraft products and books also. Located in Kalaghoda area which is another attraction.

I knew little or none of the names of the "thali" but felt like i was sitting at a elaborate wedding as waiters whizzed by pausing only to offer me some more food or explain a dish. The food was outstanding and left me wanting more though my tummy was too full. For that kind of originality i gave it 5 stars.

Chetana - excellent thali restaurant, they serve Gujarati, Marwari and Maharashtrian thalis here, super warm hospitable service. They really take care of you here with a smile and in case if there is a vegetable that you don't like in your thali they will replace it with another vegetable as well - this was truly amazing. Had the Gujarati thali here and being a Gujarati can definitely vouch for its authencity. Awesome Food and Super Awesome Service

While I am a regular visitor at Chetana, last time I visited during Diwali week, I found the quality of food gone down several notches. That was very surprising. Perhaps the demand was much more they could handle at that time or the staff were hassled having worked continuously including Diwali days. Whatever may be the reason, I do hope that they bring back their quality standard. Will test it out once or twice more before I form a permanent opinion.

Recommended this place for a more local experience. There were a few Thali to choose from, and I went with the mixed thali that had mixture from various styles. It was too much for 1 person (no sharing allowed for Thali) and we could not even try the rice. Mango lassi was also freshly made. Overall, a good experience.

Visited Kala Ghoda festival...thats when i Thought of having the Variety of Thali...My target was the very famous Rajasthani Thali. Even ordered of Gujrathi Thali. Intially we were served  with Jaljeera and Chaas.  3  farsans...samosa, Batata Vada and Dhokla were same for all the thalis....One Dal and one Dahi Kadi...Finger licking Gatte ki Sabzi...too good Ker Sangri. Chole with paneer( a weird Combo) tasted ok ok. Roti and Bajra Rotla were served along. The Main dish of Rajasthani cuisine took a long time to come...rather had to ask 2-3 times for thr Dal Batti...it tasted yum no doubts for it. The Gujrathi Thali had Kala Chana...Cabbage vegetable and Aloo mutter. Dal(spicy) and Kadi(sweet) were served along. The rice there was khichadi and steam rice. The desert were fruit custard and gulab Jamun. For the food could give 10/10 but the service was less than 5 on 10. If anyone looking for proper Rajasthani Thali would advice do visit the place for food.

chetna was always on my bucket list and it definitely didnt disappoint me. we preferred a la carte since we werent in the thali mood. ordered paneer makhanwala and rajasthani ker sangri sabzi which was a delight. bit on the heavier side calorie wise though. i had all the plans to order choorma laddu but cudnt dare to aftr having the main course. personally suggest to order phulkas rather than those heavy parathas. amritsari tikke were average. raita cud hv been less salty. nonetheless enjoyed chetna for sure. perfect for a family dinner but wit a good apetite for rich Gujarati Rajasthani n Maharashtrian food. last one i need to try next time
