Palmetum, name itself says it has something to do with Palm trees. This place not only is full of Palm trees but also is full of multiple species of Palm. This park contains 120 different species of Palm trees with a total of around 250 Palm trees spread over an area of 1 Acre. This place is fully crowded with palm trees which results in abundant levels of Oxygen. A track for walking surrounded by palm trees is a pleasure to walk. Best place for all age groups, a very good recreation place. A must visit place in Malakpet.

Was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this "Palm Themed" park which is tucked away just a lane away from the Malakpet Main road . Good Job MCH for conceptualizing and maintaining the park. It is a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle and ideal for walks/meditation amidst the palms. It also provides ample botanical facts and educational boards which is a great add on. I love the canopy of green that completely covers the park blocking out the routine noises and transports one into a beautiful world of greenery and peace!

This park was developed by GHMC some 7 years ago there are so many palm 🌲🌳🌴 .. A walking track is there many people come for a peaceful walking in morning and evenings.. This park is very near to main road just less than 500 metres.. Opposite to this park vaccination program is going on in uphc.. People who has taken vaccination from uphc they settle here for relaxation a must visit park.. Near to Malakpet Yashoda Hospital Nalgonda X roads

The go to place for morning walk or evening stroll. The place is closed in the afternoon. The ambience is good. The place offers information about different Palm trees. This place is decorated with Palm trees and hence the name palmetum. The walking area is approximately 300 meters. It's crowded in the mornings as it is the Only park in the malakpet area. It's maintained properly.

The only draw back is lot of mosquitoes. It's due to lot of greenery around. It's advisable to use godrej roll on or odomos cream before a stroll

It's a park which has only palm trees. It has almost 50 varieties of palm , it's clean , well maintained and has a good jogging path.
