Indira Park offers a serene escape in the heart of the city, with its lush greenery and well-maintained landscapes. The walking paths provide a peaceful environment for strolls, and the variety of flora enhances the overall ambiance. However, occasional crowded periods can detract from the tranquility. Overall, Indira Park is a pleasant urban oasis, perfect for relaxation and a breath of fresh air.

This is one of those parks which are left a bit wild instead of being massively manicured. It has a variety of trees and each season the park looks different.

There is an upcoming rose garden with many varieties but needs more tending and a way for all of us to see closely. There are herb spaces too and interesting sculptures.

The park is filled with parakeets and there is a feeding area where they come in droves. The park also hosts a large variety of birds and a treat to hear and watch them.

Most walkers, runners and excercisers are polite and keep to themselves. But some folks are obnoxious talking loudly, running their mobile phone chants etc loudly. Humans are the noisiest creatures on planet.

For those who are wheelchair bound, although a short distance through the park is easy and possible. Beyond that the road becomes dirt road and difficult to maneuver.

There are plenty of seats in quick intervals plus grass to sit on. If you are using walker, it is easy to access this seat.

There is a lovely little lake with fishes and birds that swoop on these fishes.

Hands down it is my favourite park. Also don't forget to enjoy Emerald Mithai shop just outside the gate-- finest chemical-free sweets and snacks. Also Ramakrishna Math next door for a nice meditation.

Just a gorgeous serene area

Best park for peace of mind. The park is big and enormous with a lake view where we can boat. The boating charges are minimal.

Beautiful place in heart of the city. A little better maintenance with the landscaping would make it a better experience.

It's a great place to visit. We used to go to this place during our childhood times many years ago. We never used to have this kind of rush of people those days. Along with this, we used to go to Ramakrishna Math and Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence on the other side of the road. This is all a great place to visit for the whole family.

It was a wonderful experience today, seeing so many kids from other parts of the city thrive to participate in the competition. A very huge skating arena i have seen till date. Could have been maintained a lot better, so that the new enthusiasts could indulge more in the activity and raise more interest in the sport...

Indira park is a pleasant place ❤

Its one of few places where we can breathe our lungs full of oxygen as it is full of green trees, gardens, grass & flowering plants.

The park is lively and always filled with families students, lovebirds, elderly people, fitness freaks and has some secluded spots where it's filled with people who love to meditate.

The park has a beautiful pond at the centre with boat riding for couples and family and a small canteen is present beside the pond to have some refreshments.

The park is a great site for watching beautiful and chirping birds and lovely squirrels.

In the morning the park is full of visitors who jog, walk, exercise, meditate and do yoga. There are many people who take yoga classes in the morning. The park also has small gym exercise equipment.

There is also an acupuncture park where you can walk on a path set by little pebbles and rocks.

The park also had a children's play area where you can enjoy the playing equipment.

The park is very big and with attractions like Rose garden, rocks which resemble the animals and birds, some iron scrap made artistic mobuments, palm trees & big biodiversity.

Outside the park there are stalls of health drinks fruits vegetables and sprouts usually sold in the morning.

The park entry is now 10 rupees per head and two entrances are in.

The place is very peaceful with no disturbance at all and we can chat with our friends till the day breaks out.

This is a nice park for children and also adults. We can see some students also preparing for competitive exams in this park. Entrance fee is Rs. 10. There is also boating facility in this park. It has green laws and so many trees which is green treat to the eyes in concrete world. It would be little croudy on Sunday evenings and during holidays.
