Kacheguda Railway Station Platform 1

I went to this train station recently, and it was kind of a mixed bag. On the upside, it's right smack in the city, so getting there was a breeze. The station itself looked pretty cool with its old-school design, and there were plenty of spots to sit and tons of food and shops to choose from. Plus, most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Well maintained railway station. Good number of trains, like the Bengaluru Vande Bharat, start from here. Escalator and Elevator (Lift) facilities available. Cab booking takes some time as cabs not realily available.

This place is amazing. Right side of the railway station there is one resturant with the maharaja express theme. The price is also regionable...must try food there. It was really good.

It was superb, it is one of aesthetic railway station in India, this kachegida railway station is the best in Hyderabad every train is available from here and the management is very much concerned about hygiene and cleanliness, newly they are introducing of buggies that is good concept and it will workout, this railway station is ancient construction the tomp and outside look is aesthetic beautiful 😍, I loved it 😍

One if the oldest Railway station Constructed in 1916, by the Nizam of Hyderabad Asaf Jah VII, It is believed that the name Kachiguda Railway Station was given because of the Kachhi Community which has a good population residing close to the station.

Very neat and tidy. Must visit. The restaurant on wheels, 2 heritage bogies converted as Dining Restaurant. Overall Great change in the Station in one year.

It is the second railway station in Hyderabad after secunderabad with 5Platform connecting routes towards Bangalore,Mangalore, Goa, Udupi,Tirupati visakhapatnam, Delhi and many more. Wheel chair access, 24x7 AC Rest room, fresh up rooms available with a charge of 250/- around. Railway catering canteen, CCD, Domino's food and Biryani restaurant available inside the station and outside too. Kacheguda city bus station is just a walk away from Platform No.1.

Good facilities provided. Good place to wait for the connecting trains. Very well connected with secunderabad railway station, through local trains.

Just outside the station, there is bus Stand from where buses are available all around the city. Metro station is also nearby

All five star given but the waiting room and toilets are totally unhygienic condition. Authorities has to get resolve the issues.

Platform 1 of Kachiguda station luckily has a back gate, entering from where, the AC compartments are easily accessible. Otherwise one would have had to walk almost the entire platform length.

Inside there is a very bad smell.
