Sri Subrahmanya Matha

This is a place of a Hindu temple which has experienced priests to conduct all types of havans, poojas for all kinds of doshas. ( like pejawar mutt Santacruz ( east) .There is one good astrologer there sitting there for first 10 days of every month available for consultation on solving our problems.He doesn't loot but his consultation charges are left to our financial capacity. The hall size is moderate enough to accommodate around 100 guests for any function or get together for which we can invite friends, relatives . But all snacks and meals will only be vegetarian only.

I had visited this place for my relatives pooja, Its very close from eastern express highway. If you are cominh from Vikhroli side, you can take turn to the road which goes to chembur/govandi. Then just cross the road and you can walk for 5-7 min to reach this place. Its a branch of Kukke Subramanya in Mangalore. Its a peaceful place, Brahmins have place to cook food and sitting area to have food served on banana leaf. You can contact the temple authorities to check about pooja. There is small temple as well.

The Good.
Great process, great pandits, the overall ambience is soothing and relaxing. The food is typical South Indian style (kannada i believe) and it's pretty good. New generation may or may not like olit though:)
The place is very close to the eastern express Highway and yet it's secluded. There are accomodation facilities too.

The Bad.
Toilet facilities, while it is there, could have been better. The chairs need cleaning.

The Ugly.
Overall upkeep and maintenance needs to be a public-matha partnership. The Hindu samaj needs to rise up. Once could feel the Prices to be
on higher side.

Excellent services to delicious food served on banana leaf to cherish and linger for next visit for divine feeling of Nageshwararlaya temple and vithala rukmani behind. 🙏🏠👍

Very nice and divine temple. They also conduct pooja and other havan based on your requirements. And no shortcuts here when it comes to the rituals and ceremonies involved in such pooja's and havans. Very nice experience.

You can purchase very good flowers/malas from the flower seller there.
Nice place for hosting a small family Puja or function. Good food and nice management & staff.

Main sanctum is of Naga subhramanya . Important festival includes naga panchami, subhramanya shasti , varadhanti etc. Very peaceful, lively and divine place. Pooja's are performed elaborately by very pious and learned pundits. Prasaad served is very delicious . A must visit place

Very Nice, clean and spacious place. Boarding facility is available. We can have 3 times Prasad (meals) here inhouse. Temple conducts/offers various sevas and pujas.

It is a bit inside from the highway and the access road is not well maintained. Situated in a calm oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Mumbai suburbs, this is a temple and monastery premise of the Subrahmanya Matha of udupi astha Matha.

There is a Subrahmanya (kartikeya) temple and place and hall for performing various puja and Homa on your behalf by the well versed and qualified brahmins. There is an inhouse jyotisha available for consultation and they also have a marriage bureau for South Indian brahmins.

The Annual Subrahmanya shasthi festival is a grand occasion and many devotees visit the मठ Matha.

The highlight is the food served here after you have completed your ritual. The food served on a banana leaf is divinely tasty.

A place worth visiting for the calm spiritual ambience and to get away from the rat race for a few hours.

Amazing temple. love the architecture. the temple consists of several floors and top most have the temple. the staircase leading to temple is beautiful consisting of lot of murthis. a must see place

also there is place in basement for small religious functions. can easily accomodate 100 - 200 ppl. There are rooms available. they are very spacious.

It's in a serene & calm part of Chembur & is easily accessible via Eastern express highway. The Pooja services they offer are unparalleled. It's a must visit.
