Souk

I visited Souk for a lunch date with my mom and we had a great time. You can enjoy beautiful views of the city from the restaurant. Food was delicious and Anslem provided excellent service. A must visit spot in Mumbai!

Located on the top floor of the tower at the Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai Hotel, this Mediterranean restaurant has mind blowing food, ambiance, and views of the Mumbai city and the Sea. Can also see the Gateway of India. Food was most amazing. Vinod, our server, took great care of us and provides excellent suggestions on what's best to order. For cocktails, we got the gold rush and a spicy margarita. Gold rush was amazing. Margarita was good. For apps and mains, we got the hummus with crispy lamb with assorted breads, Turkish lamb seekh, and chicken shawarma. Everything was next level delicious. For dessert, Vinod surprised us with a cake and rose petal ice cream on account of our celebration, both of which were delightful. All desserts are made in-house. The rose petal ice-cream was so refreshing and delightful. Thank you for an amazing time!

One of my favorites in Bombay. My wife and I have been here twice for lunch and both times, Anselm has taken great care of us. The views are exceptional as is the food. Definitely get the rose ice cream. They are very accommodating towards dietary restrictions. We will return again the next time we are in Bombay. Photos are from both visits.

Had dinner here. We were expecting a great night view from here, but I guess one needs to visit this place in the daytime, if you want to enjoy the view.

We went here to celebrate our parents' marriage anniversary. The restaurant was kind enough to honour our request of 'seating with a great view'. They also sent a nice cake to congratulate our parents. How very nice of them! The chef came and asked us how the food was and the food was lovely, there's no lying there. We had 'rocka and figs salate', Shawarma Platter, Prawn Kunafa, a cocktail called Zafran, one double vodka and Baklava Platter. All this and the bill was north of 11000. This is definitely an expensive place to dine, but satisfaction is sometimes priceless. We will visit again in the daytime to marvel the view of Arabian Sea at our feet and then, we will see.

I will always remember this dining experience as homely, pleasant yet exquisite. People who were serving us were mild mannered, smiling and the hospitality was top notch, there's no denying there. Must experience once!

We had an amazing family lunch at souk , taj. The food & service were outstanding. Mr Anselm who served us made very good recommendations on the food. The chef made my mum feel super special on her birthday by carving a swan 🦢 out of a green apple for her. The service at the taj is always so warm and the best 👌u

We had visited souk to celebrate our anniversary and we were taken by surprise! The food was delicious and view from the top floor was breathtaking. Mr Anselm took beautiful pictures for us as memories. Mr Anselm also suggested food options from which the rose petal ice cream was my absolute favourite ! The ambiance was beautiful with live music. A must visit for Sunday brunch. Thank you so much Souk staff and Mr. Anselm for the pleasant experience!

Souk is located within Taj Mahal Palace Hotel at the top most floor. It has one of the amazing views of Gateway of India.Service was top notch as expected from Taj. Food also had lot of variety, they also did customize a dish for us.

We had our anniversary lunch at Souk yesterday. The restaurant is brilliant wrt view, taste and off course the famous (Taj) hospitality. Special mention to Mr Anslem, who suggested food options, and ensured our moments were captured in our phone. The chef checked in on satisfaction with food. We had a lovely time here.

We had an exceptional experience at this hotel, thanks to our outstanding steward, Mr Anslem. He not only ensured our comfort but also went above and beyond by capturing our wonderful moments through his photography skills. His friendly and cooperative nature, coupled with valuable menu suggestions, made our dining experience memorable. The surprise complimentary cake was a delightful touch. We wish him all the best and look forward to being served by him again.

We had a fabulous experience having breakfast at Souk. We actually planned to be at Shamiyana however because of it being a busy morning we were brought upto Souk. This was the best decision. The views are breathtaking on all sides, the staff was courteous, the service was outstanding every minute we spent time here. We met Anselm, the manager and he was beyond hospitable. Gentle, polite, courteous and helpful. He spent time with us talking about the history of the hotel, the city generously offered a tour of the place to my daughter, offering to take pics and also sharing the rich heritage. Anselm loves his job and it shows through the staff and the service. Please visit Souk and ask for Anselm for a true experience.

The food, the view, the hospitality at the Souk Restaurant was very amazing. Special mention to Mr. Anselm who served us very well, clicked good pictures for us and made us feel comfortable there. Chef Jayanti has an amazing art in making waffles and pancakes, chef made for us too and they tasted delicious. Definitely I’ll visit the place soon. It was an amazing experience.

Amazing...no words to describe our experience at souk resturant in taj..Mr. Anselm was too much kind and humble to make us feel comfortable and take our pictures..Chef balaram and chef Karren made very cute and yummy Mickey mouse shape cupcakes for my kid..the view is also mesmerizing..the hospitality is incredible and the taste and quality of the food has no words to describe..I am overwhelmed with this experience.. priceless for me...thanku so much taj..

Excellent experience. The view of Gateway of India from the top of Taj is breathtaking. One of the best restaurants for Mediterranean food. Rose Petal Ice-cream is a must try. Obviously it is expensive, it is Taj.

One of the best restaurants experience me and my wife had. Not just the place and ambience were the highlight but also the souk staffs who made us feel like home. Mr. Kalpesh, Mr. Pritesh and Mr. Pankaj were amazing made us feel so welcomed and belonged. Chef simon had made the best food. Definately a strong recommendation.

Taj souk is a beautiful restaurant with a breathtaking view of gateway of India and the ambience which is beyond compare. Loved the decor and the vibe of this place. Had a great experience at Taj Souk with lovely buffet. The service is top notch and they will take care of your needs in a professional manner. Special mention to Mr. Anselm Fernandes for his great hospitality.

Beautiful view at top of Taj Tower with views of Gateway and Sea. The food is best Mediterranean food we have had with fresh hummus and pitas. The lamb kebab Istanbul is delicious. Their rose petal ice cream is a signature dish. The service is extraordinary. The best restaurant at Taj for overall ambience and food.

We went here for a light dinner and Souk does not disappoint. The Chef welcomed us and we told him how much we loved the truffle hummus and how fresh the dishes were. Portion size is really good. Don’t expect spicy food here. Souk is all about the healthy food with a great ambience. We paid 4K without alcohol. What delicious food.

Polite and professional staff. Presentation of food was excellent. Souk is more about Quality and taste rather than quantity. Shawarma was good. Great view. Really comfortable seating. The interior beautiful.
