Greece Visa Application Center - Mumbai

Went there for Greece Visa for self and spouse. Was not crowded but we still opted for Lounge, when suggested by staff. Process was instantaneous and smooth. Staff reviewed our papers and captured biometrics in 15 minutes. We left GVC in less than 30 minutes. Got our Visa and Passport in 10 working days. Just ensure that all your docs are as per the checklist on their website and attested/ stamped by relevant authorities.

10 mins walkable distance from Mahalaxmi Railway station & close to Famous studio.
Parking is available for both Two wheeler & four wheeler.
Parking rates are 60₹ for two wheeler & 180₹ for four wheeler.
Bags are not allowed in visa building so you have to take locker which will cost you around 200₹ for 2 hrs.
Mobile phone is allowed.

Staff is very helpful and patient. They explain you the requirements well.

Though while carrying the ITR, make sure they are attested by the CA

Service is excellent.
However Laptop and Pen drives are not allowed inside , making it mandatory to use locker system which is chargeable at Rs.200 for two hours.

The whole process is very systematic. Staff is professional. But a lot of fuss was created with regard to the documents. I wonder why a country which should welcome tourists with open arms be so fussy....Also, at the Centre, they want to extract money from customers in whatever way they can. So a printout would cost ₹ 150 (B & W that too) !!!! And pendrives aren't allowed..So if you're accidentally carrying one and don't have a vehicle, you'll be forced to pay and use the locker. Nevertheless, got the visa couried in 3 days and glad I don't need to make another visit here!!

The longest I have ever waited for the application.
I didn’t opt for the lounge. My token number was 22 and 18 was going on when i came in.
I came in at 11:16 for my 11:20am appointment and my documents were only reviewed at 12:18am.
Biometrics was not done until 01:00pm.
Hugely understaffed and very slow process.
Also if you have one small thing missing, like I was missing a copy of my old passport, they’ll ask you to get that and won’t assist you.
But the good thing is you can go down on ground floor and get a copy done.
Also they will give you sufficient amount of time to bring in minor documents so you can have it processed right on the spot.
I’d recommend you check and recheck multiple times before you come here.
Get all the relevant stamps and signs beforehand on the documents so there’s no surprises.
All you can do is review their checklist on the website and you’ll know what exactly you need.
Also they accept only Cash and UPI and no cards so be prepared for that.
All in All, poor service.

Total waste of time and money. I flew from Bangalore to Mumbai and me being a seaman for 19 yrs & visited more than 60 countries still my visa got rejected. Overworked but still not issuing visas on time, taking more than15-20 days.
GVC is cheating people by keeping appointments open just because they get the application money. Completely unprofessional people, Its really disappointing!

HORRID EXPERIENCE. They have unofficially changed the rule from 15 working days to 22 working days for visa application submission prior to departure. This notice was stuck in their office where you can only see if you actually have an appointment. We had a business visa appointment and they didn't accept our application since it was 18 working days. Business visas can't be applied well in advance as there are many formalities that take time. We only got the dry answer to contact the embassy via email! THE EMBASSY HAS IGNORED ALL OUR EMAILS AND CALLS. When we asked why haven't you all updated on the website, we get the response that it's not allowed. So what they are doing is not legally correct.
Dear all, do not waste your money on trying to enter this country where we indians are being treated so irrelevant and badly. 🙏
