This is one of the best central university in Himachal Pradesh near Shahpur.
The quality of education , here is very good Teachers are very helpful.
The faculty members are highly experienced and passionate, providing valuable insights and guidance.

1-After living for more than 1 year this campus is quite well. The atmosphere is calm for students to study.
2-There is small market near the CUHP. For north and south Indian it's quite to cope up with the environment but further coming days it will be normal.
3-The campus consist of ATM, DHABAS, PG'S at affordable price with mess food, the hostel are far away from campus approx distance of 25km.
4-For the daily needs you have to visit market i.e Shahpur for the daily needs. In winter months you will get snow fall and temp gets down to 15°C.
5-This whole place get off after 7 PM,no shops are open, only some buses will be going through this route so you have to plan for coming and going from one to another place.
6-Here other place people will get difficulty in fast food because no good restaurants are here, you will struggle for food.
7-Overall quite good for mountain lovers.....

Central university Dharamshala is in district kangra HP.university has large campus ,gud building structure.This is near by the HPCA Dharamshala.Place is nice and giving me a joyful memories only in once day.not love it but like it😘😘

I have spent 2 year in university and have very good memories.
The university's 20KM is a good place to hang out and also has tracks .

This is a one part of the central university here. But its really at a beautiful location. The environment is study friendly.
Another division of this university is located at Khaniyara , Dharamshala.

I completed my MSc (Environmental Sciences) in 2020. Department of Environmental Sciences has great faculty and provides a lot of liberty when it comes to learning. Graduating is easy (you won't be burdened with homeworks and exam questions are basic) but you will only learn as much as you have the desire inside of you. Teachers will help you as much as you want to be helped, so try to make the best of the opportunity to learn a lot from great faculty members. For me, the two years I spent there were a motivation phase to become passionate about following an academic career. I qualified NET during 1st semester and CSIR-NET JRF in Earth Sciences during 2nd semester. I'm currently in USA pursuing my PhD in Atmospheric Sciences and I owe it all to this department!
Many people often complain about lack of infrastructure and I believe that it may be limiting for researchers and PhDs but for Master students this may not be the case as you will only be dealing with a few instruments anyways. Even if you are able to achieve perfection in handling of just a few instruments in the lab, that is a great achievement in itself!
I don't usually write reviews anywhere but I would just like to say that while you are in the University, learn as much as you can and explore as much as you can. I did a lot of nearby treks, participated in almost all the cultural and sports functions, and even went to a foreign land in the middle of final terms but the best experience for me used to be attending lectures and learning something new everyday.
I used to live in the hostel and if you have never lived in a hostel before, please do consider it, you won't regret!

The coursework is good in the physics department, also they are having astronomy courses and faculty

One of the Best University In Himachal Pradesh. Although they don't have a permanent campus... but they are providing a quality education in TAB.

The university is great. The staff here is also very good but due to lacking in permanent campus it lacks some basic facilities. I hope this could resolve soon

If you are willing to strive then you can achieve anything. You will get complete support from faculty.
