Project 88

Fabulous gallery in Cuffe Parade. They display India’s finest contemporary art. Shout out to Sree Goswami, the director of this gallery and all the staff who are a delight to meet.

It was a nice experience.. they even have people to walk you through the artists work.. we had a cool time.. this was mukherjee's work at display!
Loved the space as it has its own architectural element as well.. to walk in you have a step down.. the entry doors were Uber nice!

They call it 88 as they wanted some roots of Calcutta to stay here..

Project88 was our last venue for ArtNightThursday and I was very inspired and impressed with the current exhibit Munem Wasif who captured life through street photography (almost on-going since decades)

We also saw a short film which had some stills from his photography about a man who was obsessed with smells. He had captured life in Dhaka very intricately, one must definitely visit for inspiration and creativity.

Please check the gallery time before visiting! Also there are many galleries in surrounding, so make sure to club them all.

Quiet and easy to navigate. The echoes of time was on display when I visited which was very interesting and thoughtfully placed.

Would like to visit the gallery when there is another exhibition too as during this one the lights were only focused on the work and did not light up the space like galleries normally would

A little tricky to find but therein lies its charm. I loved visiting it during the Mumbai Gallery Week 2024. I loved the rustic yet well maintained interiors, as much as I loved soaking in the displays.

Superb exhibition space. I saw Anupam Roy's work there which was brilliant. I am not an expert on art, but I could connect with his work and understand what he is trying to say. I hope this work travels all over the world and wish him great luck :)

Its one of the most beautiful gallery in mumbai. They always exhibits very unique art exhibitions.

It's Great Experience with NG Mentor and Students

Snuck in a little by lane ahead of pasta lane …the gallery has parking outside . It has a great space and the projects they take up are something of the elitists kinds. If you are in the circle… you should know project 88.
