I’ve been coming here since 2004 before it got renovated and now even better after renovation. Good crowd and reasonably priced drinks if you consider the location it is in.

One of the oldest bars in south mumbai and a must visit atleast once to feel the vibe of the place.

Also, to go along with the drinks some amazing starters and obviously the sizzler out here is a must try.

The food were delicious and the pricing was very reasonable...The staff were very courtes and helpful.

Excellent service, good ambience, order anything on the menu and you will be more than pleased. The owner Mr. Rustom is a hands on person, which explains why this place stands out amongst peers.
Had a very peaceful and relaxing evening with friends.

Old memories of good old (now new)Cafe general :).. been coming there since college days. The food is excellent, right away from tandoor to Chinese to Kulfi.
Run by the Irani Family who always have provided a warm welcome.

The service is excellent with the waiters offering respect to its customers and also displaying a lot of patience.

I have nothing to say about the atmosphere cos it's like everything.. a drink facing the sea just bang opposite girgaum chowpatty.Dimly n beautifully lit just like the color of a 30 ml scotch whisky.

This place has a old world charm and has all types of hard and soft drinks. It also has an old world charm juke box. The place is opposite to Chowpatty and has amazing views and breeze.

Cafe general is an emotion..perfectly placed just opposite arabian sea and girgum chowpatty..rustom bhai and his team is just an iceing on the cake for this place..vibes is just something needs to be experienced..

Good place to hang out with friends and family. They serve all liquor from beer to whiskey to Rum. Its a bit small place with limited seats. But a good place to have fun with close friends.

They have a old style Juke Box in their place and you can select and play you songs too. They charge a minimum amount of ₹50/- for some 3 songs.

Food quality and quantity is also good as compared to rates they serve. A must visit place to chill out at.

Amazing Place , delicious Food and beautiful View

Decent food, but a bit on the pricier side, considering the quantity. They have a fancy jukebox which is fun, but again expensive. This place is more about the charm and the vibe than anything else.

An amazing place to just sit there and spend quality time with friends. The juke box has some amazing playlist from retro to latest hits of both Hindi and English songs. The owner of the place Mr. Rustom Irani is very friendly. Since this place has been our hang out since many many years, Rustom has really been a great host. Cafe General's spread to liquor, food and even their kulfi is fantastic and there is no compromise on quality. As loyal patrons of this place we honestly recommend this place to everyone who just wants to have a relaxing day and enjoy drinks, food and music. It's open on all days from 11.30 am to 12.30 am. ITS A MUST VISIT
