The Great Next - Adventure Tours

We availed the services of TGN in Dec, 2018 for our trek to Kuari Pass. I must say it was a lovely experience like all the pervious ones (Valley of flowers, Hampta Pass, Kedarkahtha) we have had with TGN. We were extremely impressed with the stay at Josimath. Himalayan Abode is surely an amazing place to stay, all the rooms have tastefully done interiors and the service is really homely and top notch.
Coming to the trek itself it was a lovely trek made better by the able guide provided to us and the stay in the tents at the hills was also comfortable with friendly people managing the services.
Would like to give a special thanks to Venkat who has been my point of contact at TGN, for all the treks I have booked. It's always comforting to know that he would be able to come up with the best trekking options available....

I went for a Beginner's kayaking course with the team in Rishikesh. It was one of the best experiences of my life. All the trainers were so nice and friendly and used to put genuine efforts on us. Kayaking is expensive but it was absolute worth for money, lakhs of equipment and one trainer with each person. Highly recommended. Kudos to Great Next :D

Used their services for a customized travel itinerary for trek, paragliding and stay across locations in Maharashtra. Not only did they design an itinerary keeping all my needs intact, they also made all arrangements needed for a smooth and comfortable trip. They even kept checking on me to make sure all was well throughout. İt does work out to be slightly more expensive than planning everything yourself, but this was totally worth it. As a female solo traveler, i would definitely recommend them and would give 6 stars if I could. Special thanks to Dhanraj for planning such a thoughtful and wonderful experience for me. :)

My first snow Himalayan trek and my first trip without parents went successful and amazing with the facilities provided by the great next. All my concerns such as safety, hygiene, food ,etc were carefully taken care by the management. The trek leaders were amazing and I'm so happy that I did this

We booked Visapur Trek through The Great Next. Got in touch with Dhanraj, who was extremely helpful & gave us detailed information about the trek and facilities being provided by company.
We were given excellent experienced guides who assisted us throughout the route.
Home made tea and lunch in a village house was a total surprise. The food was delicious.
Overall a good experience, worth the money spent.

Booked the Kedarkantha Trek with The Great Next and had an absolutely great experience.
Everything from the booking process to the actual trek went extremely smoothly. The guides were extremely supportive and motivating. They made sure that we made it to the summit even though the weather was bad.
The food too was great for mountain standards- how they managed to serve deserts like Gulab Jamun at the altitude of 10,000 feet will always be a mystery to me.

It all started when I found about this beautiful place named Valley Of Flowers and was so curious about visiting there, knowing August was the best month to visit; I started hunting or rather forcing people to join this nature journey with me. Finally we were a group of 3 girls who enrolled for the adventure, anxiously. Safety was the major concern all of us had in minds..But the moment we had started our journey with THE GREAT NEXT not even a single moment where we felt unsafe.. They made our trip more memorable as we did not have any concerns in our minds and were all set to explore.

On the management part, I was in constant touch with one of their representative named Harshal, one of the most supportive, encouraging and understanding person I would have talked to. He had answers to all my queries may it be i bothered him on a Sunday night at 11. He managed everything seamlessly. They managed to arrange swiss tents for us which deserves a big thank you as all the tents were sold on those days being an extended weekend.

The Great Next has affiliations with organizations who are masters in their field. The hospitality level they offered was incomparable. Even the trek leader was quite helpful and the one who kept us motivated till the last.

Not a single moment of disappointment in the entire trip. They made our minds quite clear on which organization to choose when it comes to trekking or for that matter any outdoor activities.

Thank you for a life time experience. And as the name signifies you guys are definitely the GREAT NEXT.

It is my second trek experience with the great next and I must say It was amazing. The whole trip was well planned. The coordinators were polite, friendly and helpful. Looking forward to many more thrilling and amazing experiences.

Fantastic experience with The Great Next.

Even though there was turbulence cuz of 370 revocation, Harshal made sure our trip didn't get cancelled as he understood how much planning and excitement went in for us to finally organise this trip that we'd been planning for years.

He constantly remained in touch with us and gave us regular updates on the situation and also came up with an alternate route in the same number of days without us missing out on much.

I believe that you could come up with such service only when you really connect with your customers and understand how important it is for them to have a smooth trip.

Our group had 10 members from all over the country, who joined in as strangers but left as real good friends.

Our trip leader Tenzin accompanied by Avik and Arun are the best crew ever! They were always available when needed and shared so many fun facts about the places we visited. This trip for sure wouldn't have been as much fun without them!

I had heard from my friend that Great Next is an amazing startup for adventure trips and finally I got an opportunity to experience the same during my visit to Boracay. Saylee from Great Next assisted me for planning and booking for a scuba dive. Everything was seamlessly coordinated on whatsapp right without having to call her once also.

The experience at the Dive shop was also wonderful and we were given proper visual, audio and practical training before making the final dive. The instructor was nice, helpful and ensured that our dive was memorable.

Often when you travel to foreign countries you are always worried about the services you will get from the vendors over there but I feel a startup like Great Next is doing a commendable job so that we tourists get best of the experience when we travel.

Approached TGN last month about trekking in North India. It's my first time in the area and Mathan recommended Kedarkantha winter trek in the Himalayas. And these guys delivered. It was really a super awesome experience for my brother and myself including the group we were part of. It was well organized starting from providing info on the trek gear, meeting points, transport to the Himalayas and back, accomodation, camping gear, trek guides and great meals provided. We couldn't ask for more. Great experience and memories and I'll definitely go to them again for future challenges. Well done TGN!

The coordinators are extremely helpful. They go to extra lengths for helping you in figuring out where do you want to go and will be there with you at every step whenever you need them. Amazing service, I wanted to book a last minute ticket, I didn't think I'd get any good treks, but they sorted me out. Highly recommended.

Thank you team TGN and specially Venkat for planning, coordinating and being attentive to our needs and making good recommendations (like renting bike etc). 3 days trip from Dehradun to Rishikesh was really satisfactory. Guidance given by him from the start to end was very helpful. During the trip, staying in tent was too good. The staff was very supportive and humble. One should definitely try the thrilling experiences of rafting and bungee in Rishikesh at least once in life. The tent in camp was so much spacious for all 3 of us. Overall it was a very good and chilling experience. Looking forward for more such outings with TGN :)

Awesome Experience !
Availed their service for booking camping and river rafting in Rishikesh Feb-2020. This is the first time I am doing both these activities and had lot of questions about it. The representative was really patient in answering all my questions (I would have made at least 10 - 15 calls before confirming my booking !!). There was a minor hiccup in the plan and they compensated me for the same to make my experience hassle-free. The representative was always approachable and responding to my queries even after reaching the camp.
To me trust is the main factor for making online bookings and TGN does a commendable job at that.

I went to a trek with The Great Next, to Nag Tibba in Uttarakhand. We were 6 friends who then met other groups. In all we were 40+ people who went on the trek. The great next took care of all the major arrangements as promised, be it camping arrangements, meals, transport to and from Dehradun station, etc. There were little gaps too which if filled could make the experience seamless,
a. The first driver could have had Avomine for mountain sickness, or let us buy from pharmacy.
b. Place for a good tea/hot drink instead of the expensive and okayish place in Mussorie where we had to eat Maggie.
c. Driver that dropped us back in Dehradun was rude and it was only after many requests he dropped us a little far from railway station (even though itinerary mentioned dropping point as railway station). Earlier he wanted to drop us at bus stand only.
d. It would have been better if we were informed in advance to pack our bags before leaving for summit on the 2nd day of the trek. When we came down from summit (and I was the first guy to come down), our stuff was lying in the open with tents already packed up.
e. Only after a little rain, the tents became a little wet on the inside from the sides.

Apart from this little mishap, the trek was good overall. All the people we met were super supportive, extremely helpful and cordial. The food was delicious, campfire was relaxing, guides were expert navigators and helpful and we had loads of fun.

A suggestion: You guys might want to keep a photographer or videographer for every trek. It will be an added benefit for people who don't have good cameras but want good pictures and also help you guys publicise your work more.

Have done treks to Hampta pass and Bhagpura based on recommendations from and arranged by TGN and have had a wonderful experience.

They really take the time to understand their customer's wants and capabilities in terms of the experience being sought and deliver accordingly.

Though they are aggregators, they keep engaged right till the end of the experience and make sure things go right.

It has also been my experience that their tie-ups are with reliable and professional trek operators only and I would (and do) recommend them hands down for any kind of adventure/outdoor activity.

My family and I decided to go on an impromptu camping trip near Mumbai. I knew I had to call up The Great Next. Dheeraj provided several options based on my requirements.Within 10 minutes, arrangements were made and my booking was confirmed with Blue Water Camping at Pawna. The booking was as hasslefree as it could be.

The folks at Blue Water Camping were very hospitable. From our personal bonfire to comfortable tents and helping our car out of the ditch, Rohi Das warmed us with his smile. As with any other adventure, I'm sure the experience would have been better during the weekday as we could have avoided the big crowds. Nevertheless, the weather was on our side. I highly recommend The Great Next for all your adventure needs and also Blue Water Camping for those looking for a weekend getaway from Mumbai.
