Aarey Picnic Point Pond

Aarey is forest land spread over acres. The picnic point is a small garden with a lake and space to stop by. Sapling plantation and cleanup drives are frequently carried out here. Measures required by the government and visitors to help keep this place cleaner. A small shop at the corner nearby serves great snack. Do not miss the Buttermilk and milk drinks from aarey.

Aarey forest is very huge. It has various kinds of lives. Biodiversity is at its best. The place is so huge that it can't be covered by walking. If one want to cover the whole area then car/bike would make it feasible. The picnic point is beautiful and very much recommended for groups and families. The Best buses are also available for the same. Other than this auto rickshaw and cab would do its bit.

Good for a one day picnic and outing, best thing is you can carry your own food at the park and enjoy the home made food in between forest area

My baby enjoyed this place. Lots of greenery and many kid friendly activities to do. Overall a great place to spend time with kids.

Nice place to get you kids if you live in aarey colony. It is far for people living outside aarey. I supposedly passed the garden while traveling and clicked few pictures of aarey. It is superb green place in heart of mumbai but lot of vehicles commuting day in and day out pollute it a lot. Nice scenic photography options available. Trees grasses and lot of natural beauty to mesmerize people.

It is one of the most beautiful places in Bombay. Sad that a part of this forest is being destroyed to build the Metro car shed. I hope the citizens of the city can save it.

Very nice quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city.The place is so huge that it can't be covered by walking. If one want to cover the whole area then car/bike would make it feasible.

This review is not actually cause i’ve been there but it is always so tempting to go there. Don’t know if it’s still open as I haven’t seen anybody there, when I pass by, since COVID.

But the quiet, the greenery, and the tranquility gets inside you and asks you to take a break from reality.
