Got a good collection of sculptures and paintings. The artist keeps on changing and anyone can display their art at a nominal rate. The entry is free and the gallery is well maintained.

It is a well known art gallery in Mumbai built around 1952 / 53. It is one of the oldest art galleries in Mumbai located at Kala ghoda near gateway of India. Upsides of this gallery is that the entry is free but photography is not allowed as per the board put up at the entrance. Phones are allowed to be used in the top floor / terrace where we click an amazing view of another colonial building opposite the jehangir art gallery. There are many paintings on display by various painters around the world. This place is best known for its diverse collection of artworks. Best place for the artists for inspiration. Must visit place in Mumbai.

Must visit place in Mumbai! It is situated in a very prime location and I'm so glad that it is free for the public to visit. The exhibitions here are honestly so amazing and feature some of the best art created. Definitely a great place to spend the evening. Its honestly an experience to see such beautiful art in such an iconic area. Makes you feel like you're part of a movie :)

It is a place for art lovers. Art exhibition changes every week or so. I get to see new things each time I visit this place. Every artist has different vibes, perspectives, and methods. It is insightful and delightful to see such beautiful arts. Although arts here are expensive. Your experience might depend on the particular artists work displayed that week. So make sure to visit again for a different experience!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Jehangir Art Gallery last Saturday with some friends, and I must say, it was a beautiful experience that left me feeling deeply moved by the incredible art on display.

The gallery is located in the heart of Mumbai, and as soon as we entered, we were transported to a world of creativity and imagination. The first exhibit we saw was about independence and the struggle for freedom. It was a powerful display of photographs, paintings, and sculptures that captured the spirit of the freedom movement and the sacrifices made by our forefathers. I was truly impressed by the depth of emotion that the artists had managed to convey through their work.

Moving on to the second audi, we were greeted with a more spiritual and Mughal art style. The exhibit was a tribute to the rich cultural heritage of India and showcased some of the most beautiful art pieces I have ever seen. The intricate details and vivid colors were truly breathtaking and left us all in awe.

However, the highlight of the day was the solo art exhibition that was dedicated to Varanasi and Lord Shiva. The artwork was simply stunning, and I found myself getting lost in the beautiful depictions of the city and its spiritual significance. The artist had managed to capture the essence of Varanasi and its ancient traditions in a way that was both authentic and modern. The attention to detail and the use of colors was simply phenomenal.

Overall, my visit to the Jehangir Art Gallery was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. The beautiful art on display was truly inspiring, and I left the gallery feeling enriched and moved by the power of creativity and imagination. Nice gallery to discover different artists. Entry is free as it is not a museum but a place for artists to showcase their work. Most of them are actually there so you can interact with them and find out more about their creations. There are so many different styles that I am sure everyone can find something they like. The place is clean and has different levels and rooms to enjoy modern art.

It was a worthwhile experience visiting this art gallery. A discussion with the artist gave us a better understanding of their art works. There was no charge for it. Visiting this place with friends or family is the most relaxing and calmest thing you can do.

Amazing arts and photographs. I have never ever seen like this in really in front of my eyes. After visiting here it's giving you a different level of vibes that's make you like yes you saw something that exists. I recommend to you must visit here.

They have a really good collection of art pieces, they also have some painting up for sale. The place was empty during my visit so we had a good time experiencing the gallery.
