Sri Murali Manohar Temple

This temple for Sriman Narayanan is located some 9 kms away from Public Gardens and is just half a kilometer from the Kashi Bugga Temple of Lord Shiva. The campus is acutally very big. When you enter the fort like gate, you are greeted by the sounds of children, yes, it houses a high school for the locals and there are a few class rooms. On the right side, you have the temple of Murali Manohar. Inside you find the shrine and a clean and well maintained Praharam where you can do Pratakshinas, sit and meditate or chant your Japas. This temple also is reported to be centuries old. Opposite to where the school is situated, there is a pond which probably served as the Theertham of the Temple. However, the water now is contaminated and unusable. Adjascent to that you have two small shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and The Rambhakt, Lord Anjaneya. There are small praharams for both and are well maintained. Here also, you have space to sit and meditate.
The atmosphere inside the temple is calm and peaceful. It would be much much better if the entire premises and the pond are properly cleaned, dilapidated Mandaps renovated.

On Sivarathri our family visited this place. its very old and looks very good. Lord hanuman and lord Siva temple also very nice pujari had given a chance to do abhishekam to lord Siva we pour water on lord Siva really very blessed. Murali monahar swami really feeling very full I feel better when I entered on lord Krishna temple. Nice parking as well

As the name suggests in this 🛕 the idol of Lord Krishna is మనోహరం(lovely).This 200 year old temple is located in Kishanbagh surrounded by muslim area totally so the governments are very negligent about development activities and maintenance. Only Hindu devotees can make it right and bright by visiting and performing pujas regularly. Our governments are very bias they safeguard small muslim kamans like Moulali kamaan also by spending lot of money but not age-old temples

Just loved it. Big space i think there is a kindergarten. U will find washrooms too. Also it has krishna , hanuman and shiv ji. It has a well too. Under development.

This place is in the center of the city but very peaceful.Lord krishna's idol is so beautiful.There are also Lord Shiva and Hanuman temples in that temple complex...

Such a peaceful temple amidst the chaos. Beautiful idol of krishna. The compound houses an old well with Shiva and Hanuman temples on the top.

Do visit the kala bhairav and Kashi bugga temple which are just a Stone's throw away.

Magical and absolutely wonderful temple...must visit

200 year old temple with Swayambhu Murali Manohar presiding this place. The ancestors of the trustee had a dream of Lord Krishna showing him the presence of the sacred huge stone at this place, to be found and moulded as Him. Lord Krishna is seen playing flute and is seen with a cow too.

Bal Hanuman and Lord Shiva's temples too are there. A must visit place. The trustee's family do take great care of this place and developed it greatly.

Great place... but no maintenance... 200 years old Krishna temple... this is under control of endorsement department but no maintenance. Govt.. need to take action at immediate basis..

This was a wonderful temple located at Kishan Bhag road. Pretty old but a place with lot of good vibes.

It's a sad state that more than 60 percent of the temple is already encroached. This temple requires a lot of support from local devotees to continue itself and avoid vanishing through further encroachments.

The diety was simply beautiful and the surrounding itself was away from the busy roads and noises, which made our overall experience a fond memory. We will definitely visit this temple more frequently.

Very old temple the area Kishan Bagh got the name by the temple there is lot of history attached to the temple. Sri Murali Manohara Swamy temple and Kashibugga temple had been built by same family. A Idol is having dashavatar in thronam . The Krishna idol is also must see
