Our first writers Cafe experience, this establishment managed to elevate my day, offering a delightful blend of ambiance, an extensive menu, impeccable services, delectable flavors, and affordability. Our time there was nothing short of exceptional, as we explored an array of mouthwatering dishes that left an indelible mark on our taste buds. From the standard chicken pizza to the succulent chicken skewers, the flavorful mushroom white sauce pasta, and the enticing veg cheese balls, each dish surpassed expectations in terms of quality and taste. The cafe mocha and hot chocolate further added to the overall delightful experience.

The allure extended to the frozen delights, featuring the irresistible salted caramel, the luscious red velvet cheesecake, and the rich Vanilla Madagascar ice creams. Each frozen treat provided a refreshing and indulgent conclusion to our culinary journey.

Great food experience and excellent pastries. I really enjoyed this contemporary outlet in Chennai. Staff is customer friendly, however they need to be further trained on menu knowledge to be able to explain dishes to customers as I ordered a grilled chicken and when it came it was loaded with capsicum and I'm badly allergic to that and when I complained about it nothing was done by wait staff.

I had an amazing dining experience at Writers Cafe in Adyar! The Madras Barbeque Chicken Flammekueche was bursting with flavor and has a very thin crust with lots of chicken pieces and the Macaroni Cream Sauce Pasta was a creamy, indulgent delight. The Honey Coriander Chicken and Barbeque Chicken Wings were tender and savory, perfect for any chicken lover. The Swiss Hot Chocolate was rich and comforting, complemented perfectly by the decadent Chocolate Donut and the heavenly Death by Chocolate dessert. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend this spot for a delightful culinary experience.

Good cafeteria to hang out with friends and families. Providing dishes mostly related European cuisine. Good service and ambience.

We generally have flamenkuchen, but this time, we had Ceasar salad, spaghetti aglio , hot chocolate and grilled panini.

Probably already tried all their veg options :) Really great place to visit with friends. A really big fan of their Cream Corn soup, croissant and Flammkuchen

This is a great hangout place. The staffs are very friendly and they provide best service possible. have tried their main course for lunch and fried chicken box was really yummy and the rates are very nominal compare to other places in this area. Now they have some special menu for this seasons. Overall a great place to spend time with good food and ambience.

Again this place made my day with its atmosphere, varieties, services, taste, food, affordability. This place is completed a eye catcher for students n people looking for a calm place to carry on thier work with a hot cup of mocha. We had the best time there by ordering standard chicken pizza, chicken skewers, mushroom white sauce pasta, veg cheese balls, cafe mocha, hot chocolate. All the above mentioned dishes were purely good and tasty. Going on with the best part for frozen things included salt caramel, red velvet cheesecake, Vannila Madagascar ice creams. The total bill was 1300 which ig is affordable when compared to other cafe's.

It's a nice place. The ambience is good and the staffs are friendly.

Food was good and pocket friendly. We had Chilly Cheese fries, Chicken wings, Teriyaki chicken strips and margarita flammkuchen. I liked all the dishes. But some felt that the chicken wings could be cooked a little bit more... But it was good for me. And then we had Swiss hot chocolate which was yummy too.

Overall a nice place to hang out and wil be visiting it often in the future.

One of my go-to places for a solo date 💙, I love their hot chocolate and chocolate almond croissant. Staff are very polite. This is a very affordable range cafe!

It was an awesome experience. I've always wanted to go to Writer's cafe and I don't regret it. This place is budget friendly also has delicious food with exotic flavours. Their Lemon sticky chicken is a must try. Loved it *chef's kiss*

Good ambiance! Good food! Staff was very good. Tried French Toast, Scrambled egg with salami and Spanish omelet with chicken sausages.

Do yourself a favor and visit lovely writer's cafe. The service is good. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – 🍰🧋🍩flavors melted in our mouth. Absolutely the best meal we had in a while. Prices are neither on a cheaper side nor on higher.Highly recommended!✅

Good place to eat and hang out. Ambiences is not great. Every item in their menu is decent.

Go-to spot for book readers. Sticky Lemon Chicken was nice, Must try.....
for desert I tried Praline, it was one of the best desert i've had...

food. Started with swiss hot chocolate and cafe latte which is necessary for my mornings to start, we ordered sloppy Joe pocket. It's filling was so nice and it's presentation along with it's taste took my heart.

Also ordered one flammenkuchen with standard base, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and olives, grilled onions and pickled chilli as its topping. It was so big and filling.

Garlic bread was very average and chicken sausages were nice.

We couldn't finish the whole thing so we got it packed.

In the end we ordered one dark chocolate ice cream.

The ambiance was so nice, it gave me the feeling of Pondicherry. Would love to go and try other items on their menu.
