St. Luke's Church

Luke's Church is known for its impressive architecture, considered one of the most beautiful churches in Chennai. The Statue of our Lady of Expectation is welcoming!! And the Altar with Holy Eucharistic shape is the main attraction here !! ♥

This Church was built in 1977 and was recently renovated in 2018.

It enshrines one of the largest monstrance (where Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is kept) in the world.

The newly renovated church is huge, beautiful and provides a good ambience for prayer and peace.

It offers many Holy Masses on Sundays for the faithful in English and Tamil

Spectacular church! If you love art, you should definitely visit this place! It's that speactacular! I also heard it holds a record for the biggest Monstrance (Eucharist of Christ holder) on the alter. Parking is just the huge problem here. There is also a simple and elegant wedding hall, for about 1000ppl. Dining area is a bit congested as it seems it was first built as a parking space and not for dining.

One of the best churches i have ever seen.Many Testimonies and Miracles took place in this church.The new church is nearing completion and the structure of church looks mighty and very beautiful.
One of the fastest growing churches in Chennai and This church will surely become one of the biggest landmarks in Chennai.

During Mass timings there is a lot of crowd.
But if you would like to spend some quiet time with God be present during the timings when the Mass does not take place

The church is spiritual and the alter design is well crafted and massive.

I have been to this church.. The interior of this church is outstanding... One could feel the art.. Multiple masses are conducted for ppl to listen.. In 2 languages Tamil and English... One of the crowded Church..

Great interior deco with Gold leaf tabernacle, nice murals of stations of the cross and stained glass of various Our Lady pictures/icon

The only con is that, you really need to find a place to park your two wheeler/four wheeler. It took me about 10 minutes to park my bike and enter the church.
