Tamilnadu Government Public Library

A nice full time library very close to Ambattur railway station and Ambattur OT bus stand behind govt girls highschool.having first floor for reading newspapers and magZine ground floor for books mostly on all subjects.many local and outsiders donated for this library and the patrons names displayed at the entrance starting from Rs.1000
A single librarian is available from morning to evening .membership of Rs.60.00 per annum to can take home 3 books with 15 days time to return.students are seen taking notes for their competitive exams and more elder people.nice location surrounded by trees

Super place for tnpsc exams

it is a good source of books. flexible working hours of 8 am to 8 pm. good accomodation for readers. they are adding restroom facilities also. near by Amma canteen is there. good for youngsters to read more. The library is open on national/state holidays also for newspaper section only. People csn borrow upto three books with a registration of rs60 one time. They can return in 15 days. Renewal is annual for a meagre rs 10.

Nice place to read variety of books.. dedicated section for IAS aspirants..

But you can't find all the required books.
