This is a very religious place.there was a very little stone which is worshiped by the people but it's now in a big shape. That's why the people believe in Lord Shiva very much.

We visited this temple during our Chaar Dhaam Yatra.This is a very small temple on the side of the road leading to Jyotirmath and Sankaracharya temple. The deity here is a big rock which is considered to represent Lord Shiva. The rock is SWAYAMBHOO and it is worshipped like the shivling in shiva temples (with Jaldhara)
