The home stay was cosy there was a slight problem with services that may be due to the off season and celebrations if diwali

This is a very warm place, and the host is very friendly! They serve tea in the evening, along with a few snacks, and the dinner is very good! The room has a beautiful view, and there is a small balcony too. It isn't very fancy, but very clean, and with a warm staff.
Since we had to leave early the next morning, we'd requested to pack the breakfast, and it was done very well. The food is simple, but good. The location is nice too.
Overall I can't fault this homely stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone travelling for a couple nights' stay!

The place has the best view facing towards at the mountains. The food is very tasty and the dining place is the open terrace which gives the heavenly feel.

A memorable stay! I visited this place in March 2017 with my family and had a stay of 4 days. It was really a memorable experience! The hotel is situated in a very calm area. The view from the rooftop and the dining room is stunning! There is also a small library, containing quality books and you can simply take any of them, go to the rooftop and enjoy it reading in the open while having sips of coffee with the view of mighty Himalayas in front of you!
Rooms were regularly cleaned and well maintained. Food quality and ambiance is worth remembering. The staff and the owners are very warm welcoming people and they do all things to make you fell like you are in your own home, away from home!

It’s a beautiful and a cute homestay. Something which I’ll surely recommend, as it meets all your needs with good food, great and quick service, clean rooms and beautiful view. You can see and hear the river flowing from the room during the monsoon. It is managed by an uncle who is really sweet and can get you really amazing Dal chaval when super hungry. It was our saviour when we were back from our trek.
It’s just 40 mins away from Auli and closer to Govindghat if planning a trek to valley of flowers.

What a great hotel it was...It's not exactly in Joshimath so don't be confused by Google maps it's just 4km away from Joshimath in Badrinath Road..Rooms are exactly same shown in the pictures...Food is sooooo amazing....The main owner is so good nd it's like home...Food is so delicious nd it's very reasonable ...The hotel was so good that we had to extend our stay here coz of its great hospitality....

Fabulous yet homely about describes Himalayan abode. Pretty rooms, colorful decor and warm friendly staff make staying here a memorable experience. But the best part of this place are the views from balconies of rooms and the terrace. Stunning views of mountain and misty valley. The food is good. The dining hall is located on the terrace so beautiful views can be enjoyed over breakfast and meals. The terrace has a lovely landscaping and potted garden so sitting here with some coffee and snack and watching sunset is quite an experience. A little away from Joshi math town, actually located in Marwari village, if you have a cab or car on hand, then this is the place to stay.If you are a nature lover and are looking for a quaint quiet place away from crowds, then I would absolutely recommend staying here .

It was a wonderful experience to stay in a homestay. The food quality is ok. Don't expect a variety of food. The view of the hill from the hotel is very good. It's near to Vishnuprayag. Also Badrinath is a 2 hrs ride from the hotel. If time persists you can visit auli also.

The views from here are to die for. And the most important part is that the staff are probably the nicest I have ever come across. As a group of girls, they booked us a cab to go about and whenever the cab was even a few minutes late the manager would call and make sure we are okay . I would go back to Joshimath just to stay here. And the view from the terrace open dining area is just magnificent. Overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay .Highly recommended.

This hotel had a great view and is one of the best you can get in auli.Places to visit are very close from here .Badrinath is 100 kilometers away that sounds like a lot but you dont hotels further and that is closet place to be at.We normally ate sandwiches and Naans with some daal and the food tastes very good in the cold atmosphere. It is actually a homestay and I loved the service over there. You can also arrange a campfire over the roof if you pay a extra 500 rs.The roof is awesome to chill at night and on the roof is a good dining table.Ropeway is a few kilometer maybe 1 or 2 from there. The rooms were well maintained.Blankets available were thick and felt warm after a few minutes inside them.

Though this place being a 2 hours drive to Badrinath Temple still has a very serene and peaceful environment. You get up with the morning rays coming from the closet of mountains. The hospitality we had was topnotch special mentions for Mr Ram Narayan ji (care taker at the property) and Pankaj (steward) we were overwhelmed by their gesture. Not to forgot the delicious homely food which one craves for if you are on a long tour.

Lovely view, amazing place. Especially i will recommend the service i have received at this place. There's a guy with the name 'Devendra', kind, humble and impeccable service. He made us feel like home. Highly recommend place. Must stay here. We paid for basic rooms, they had it all vacant, they upgraded us to a delux room too! A little drive from Joshimath market area, calm and blissful stay.

Had a comfortable stay here in the cottage. Had booked a backpacker room for 1 night. Since there was no electricity there they were kind enough to host me in a cottage. The homestay was little difficult to locate in the night, but overall a good experience. Warm and kind staff.

Himalayan Abode is a gorgeous treehouse surrounded by beautiful
Orchards and overlooking hills. The climate is very pleasant and above all they offer superb hospitality. Hukum ji and Abhishek don’t think twice before going out of their way to make their guest feel special. Our stay at the place is a truly unforgettable experience as we spent our last honeymoon night there, and the place was specially decorated by them for us.
