Gurudwara Sahib Sri Gobind Ghat

Gurudwara is located at Gobind Ghat, which is located at around 16 kms from Joshimath. This Gurudwara act as a base camp for the 2 days of trekking to the Sri Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib. The Gurudwara Sahib is located on the bank of Alaknanda river. Accommodation and free langar is available to all the pilgrims. Also, Gurudwara Sahib has a tempo traveller service for pilgrims from Gobind Ghat to Rishikesh and back. There is small but bustling market in the vicinity. The goods in the market are sold at higher prices than on the MRP.

Managed by Hemkunt Sahib Gurudwara Trust it is the base point for the start of Trek to Shri Hemkunt Sahib Gurudwara. You can avail paid rooms for 1100/- & 1500/- and also get a free stay in the halls of gurudwara.

Holy place from where pilgirms take the blessings of Guru Granth Sahib and start the trekking to Shri Hemkunt Sahib via Pulna and Govind Dham Gurudwara Sahib. Rooms, Halls and Luggage Room are available. Langar is available. You can get the Pinni parshad packet from here.

Gurudwara Sahib Sri Gobind ghat is beside the river. It is a beautiful gurudwara with all the facilities. You can get a rooms, dormatry beds with blankets, pillow and its cleaned. The gurudwara is at primary location and sangat stay here for Shri Hemkunt sahib darshan. You can have free stay and langer at gurudwara. You just need to show the Aadhaar card for booking of rooms. The process is very simple and the sevadars are really helpful and polite. Langer facility is 24hrs availble. Gurudwara ia hardly 1km from main Badrinath highway. You can reach gurudwara by walking. Four and two wheeler parking is also available in gurudwara which is paid. You can also get gurudwara transport for Rs 800 which starts @ 6am everyday and it drop the sangad to Rishikesh gurudwara premises. So gurudwara is well maintained. You can get hot water from morning 3am to 12pm. Which is required considering cold temperature. Locker rooms are also available where you can keep your heavy luggage and take a rugsuck bag for further trekking. Overall beautiful place with green lush mountains. If you are doing solo trip or with family you have all the facilities available in the gurudwara. Near to gurudwara helipad is available. You can take the helicopter facility till Govinddham (Ghangharia) which is paid. Charges are Rs 2987 per person having weight 80kg and if its above then Rs 250 per kg additional amount you have to pay. I would definetly recommend everyone to visit the gurudwara. A very peaceful places with very food service by hemkund trust community. Highly recommend one must go this place . Its free of cost , dont wast money in other hotels and food. Good ambiance with nature friendly

Govindghat is a town in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, India, located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga rivers. It is the roadhead on the way to Shree Badrinathji yatra - One of the important places of worship of Hindus and the starting point for trekking to Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers.[1] Hundreds of people, mostly Hindu pilgrims to Shree Badrinathji and Sikh pilgrims on way to the holy shrine of Shree Hemkund Sahibji and occasional tourists to the Valley of Flowers, arrive here every day.

3 .amazing food as Prasad is always having different taste
4.there is no money involved just simply selfless service
It’s neat and clean and community is serving it to help people at this height and you can reach after trekking up to 10 kms and this place is in ghangaria where you can reach to Hemkund saheb and valley of flowers and there is a diversion for the both but little steep is Hemkund saheb and easy trek is for valley of flowers

A place of divine which comes just before you start the lifetime trekking of the Great Hemkund Sahib ji ! Easily accessible with car, parking is also available along with rooms. Khachchar can be taken if you can not walk this long distance till Ghaghariya. Trek is hillarious but very long, ie 16 km. A Must visit....

Everything is toooo gud, only one thing is very bad that is Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib Trust Start Paid Room In Rishikesh Gurudwara, Gobind Dham And Gobind Ghat, Trust Give Room At Gobind Ghat In 1500Rs And 2100 Rs, And Outside Hotels Give Us Room Only In 500 Rs
