It's a very peaceful and ancient temple at Joshimath. If, you are planning/going not to badrinath directly, My suggestion, please must visit here. It is a very huge mulberry tree and claimed to be 2500 years old. Shri Jagatguru Shankaracharya stayed here for 5 yrs and set up the math here. Great feeling..

Beautiful Place , it is said that this Kalpvriksha is here for almost 2500 years... It is also believed that the roots of Kalpvriksha goes down to touch river Alaknanda though the Kalpvriksha is hollow but it's completely green ... Jyorthimath Temple is next to this Kalpvriksha....

Its a huge 2500 year old berry tree where Adi shankaracharya ji did meditation for 5 years. Nice place to hang out if you are inclined to spiritual and Hindu mythology .
