3 months when it has snowfall, one should plan and visit.

A serene gem nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas. Created to provide a skiing platform, the lake now offers a mesmerizing reflection of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The tranquil waters and picturesque landscape make it a perfect spot for leisurely walks and capturing stunning photographs. The serenity and natural beauty of the Artificial Lake add to the charm of Auli, creating a memorable experience.

It's an astonishing artificial lake and I feel privileged to experience it's frozen view through my eyes in 2021. Things were really scary in 2023. So visit the places you wanna see before it disappears.

Auli is one of my favourite places, I go so many times for a second home for me, you can see all weather in one day morning is so white when the sunrise the yellow when is the sunset time then it's orange night black, you can stay more days if you have any kind health issues because oxygen level is so low, in January you get snowfall lake is so beautiful white velvet..

It is a man-made artificial wonder, what a beautiful view. Its lovely we visited this place in Feb. Must visit this place.

The place is high on hills, reach there by cable car. Was raining when we reached ! Fun filled

Auli is a very nice place, in the winter months, snow-capped mountains are visible all around and this lake looks very attractive at that time and in the east of this lake, Nanda Devi mountain is visible here. From here, the view of the entire mountains is easily seen, it is a very good place, this pe skiing is also done in the cold season.

Auli Artificial Lake is a pristine lake perched at an astounding elevation. It is one of the world's highest man-made lakes. The government to provide artificial snow on the ski slopes during scanty rainfall created this lake. Situated in Joshimath, Uttrakhand ❤

Nanda Devi is the second-highest mountain in India, after Kangchenjunga, and the highest located entirely within the country. It is the 23rd-highest peak in the world. Nanda Devi was considered the highest mountain in the world before computations in 1808 proved Dhaulagiri to be higher.

very usual man made lake but the point of attraction is that 360 view mountain and some hill climbing after that but try to get back before 3:00pm.bwacuse after that sunlight goes down and cold winds will be there all ober the place ao keep your track on time but if you are more adventure enthusiast then ask the track of quari pass it will worth it.

Wow experience
The lake was fully frozen when i went there.Everything around the lake was covered in snow.It was really cold but i liked being there and able to witness frozen artificial lake.I reached the lake from Tower 10 sliding on tyre tube which was an unforgettable experience as well.The chairlift and Tower 8 of ropeway are close to it.You can play with ice and do skiing near the lake.

Place is good worth visiting offering excellent view of Nanda Devi peak which gives different perspective as seen from Kausani or Almora Connectivity from Joshimath needs lot of improvement and so does facilities and ambience around lake the benches are broken or paint is chipped the drains are broken Municipal Corpiration need to pull up socks and put little effort to improve upon facilities
