Undoubtedly best guest house in the state of Kerala. The view from balcony is surreal. Staff too is very courteous.

Rooms was so good. It was renovated recently and all the things were brand new and the view from the room balcony was so amazing. We can see the sun rise from the bed view it so good... And place is so calm and peaceful. The food were also so good and tasty too..

Best guest house from Kerala tourism. What a place and what a view with sea in the back of guest house.. service and staff are too good

This is Government guest house. But maintenance is better than many private Lodges. Rooms are available for General public also. But prior reservation required. You have to send a fax atleast 7 days before your checkin and get confirmation. Upon showing recipt at reception. Your room will be alloted.
The great thing is. Ultimate see view ☺.

I could stay there 1 day some 30 yrs back . WOW ! The sea facing top floor rooms give a mind blowing experience Vastness is the sea . I love to visit again soon

Govt Guest House Kannur is situated Near Payyambalam at the coast of Arabian Sea. You could feel excellent hospitality. A restaurant available inside the Guest House. This Guest House and its surroundings were the main location for the film "Ayal Katha Ezhuthukayaanu".
