NVK Traveller Restaurant in Kannur is an excellent non-vegetarian restaurant offering a diverse range of flavorful dishes. From succulent meats to richly spiced delicacies, this restaurant caters to varied tastes, ensuring a satisfying dining experience for lovers of non-vegetarian cuisine.

Decent ambience with AC hall and Non AC hall option. Kerala Paratha having both options maida and wheat those are my favourites with Chilly Chicken dry and they provide with gravy. We ordered Wheat Kerala Paratha, chilly chicken dry, mutton curry, Chicken Biryani and Ghee Rice. They do have there own parking. Good spot to drop by when you are travelling.

We had an amazing experience at MVK when we lunched from this outlet during a road trip. Ate the famous Thalassery biriyani along with porotta and chicken gravy and we loved it.

Can attest to the fact that the Thalassery biryani is distinctly different in taste compared to the iconic Malabar biryani (which we had the next day at Calicut). I’m sure there are other popular outlets that serve the Thalassery biryani but MVK did not disappoint.

There was ample parking space out in the open and the place is located right besides the main road. Service was great and pricing of the dishes was good. There can be waiting during peak hours.

Great food. Tastes the same. . However this time the biriyani taste was dominated by fennel seeds. Please take care of the ratios. You being such a famous restaurant cannot afford to make such mistakes.

Nice place with good parking area and it’s really clean. Very friendly service. We had a single chicken biriyani which is perfect for a normal personal. Clean and neat place. Food was tasty as well.

Next day I ordered a tikka biriyani which was not so great. More of a masala type. But those who love masala might love it.

Must try is the lemon tea.

This hotel is good to access from NH itself. Very famous for chicken biriyani. Ac hall is also available. Toilets are neat and clean.

Regularly been dining here. The atmosphere is decent, food is tasty and overall pretty hygienic. Never really faced any waiting delay but might get crowded in the noon or around evening.

I'd say there's sufficient parking considering the location they are in making it ideal for long distance travellers.

Have had food at all times, The biryani is excellent, ghee roast and porotta are always fresh and crisp and perfect.

Is a little on the pricier side but the food has always satisfied me.

Amazing food. You should be ready to wait if you are going in peak hours. Every time I have been here I had to wait for at least half an hour. But I just love the place and the food here. Recommended for Biriyani. Must try.

The food was very tasty and hygienic and the service was also very good... Mostly it is crowded .. but even then they managed to give us a table very quickly .they have a good parking space also .. Kerala biryani was the best ... 👌👌👌

Currently one of the best places to eat. This is one of the oldest restaurant groups in Kannur. Most of the dishes are tasty and they are successful in keeping the authentic taste which they have been maintaining for years. Don't miss the Chicken Biriyani.
Staffs are good but not trained properly. Service can be better.

It's a non-air-conditioned restaurant with good ambience and foodservice personal.

I liked their very much about north Kerala foods like Porotta (Highly recommended), Nadan pepper chicken masala (Recommended), Vellappam (Tasty), Chicken biryani (Highly recommended).

Overall good experience. Food was reasonable. Good space for parking. Handwash area and the restaurant itself is reasonably sized.

Awesome ambience. This place is right on the highway and this is a go to place when you need the right quantity food with excellent taste within budget. They offer a variety of food and I should say their's was one of the best I have tasted in Kannur. Must visit place if you are looking for food options. Plenty of dine in space for families to come and enjoy. Great staff, very huge and open kitchen makes it transparent.

Had breakfast here. The food is great! Staff was courteous. Everything was clean. And the bill was very reasonable.

MVK has builtup its brand over the years. I personally am havinng its biriyani since 25 years. Even then it was popular. So recently they opened this huge complex on the NH just after caltex junction towards Thalassery. I went in for a takeaway and took the fish biriyani, was excellent. Will visit again for a dine in experience. Seem to have a good thali options and biriyani choices of chicken, mutton, fish and prawns. A 200+ cover and on the highway seems a convenient and great choice at reasonable rates. But going by the popularity parking was full.

One of the best mutton biriyani you'll ever have ....wide range of indian and chinese dishes.
