It is not only a stadium but an emotion for all the residents of Jhargram. Every important function, fair, performance, takes place in here. Lots of sports related activities could be seen in and around the place.

Swami Vivekananda himself said - "You will be closer to heaven if you play football than read the Gita!" What he really means is that we should be physically strong. Only then can we have a strong mind and only then can we succeed in any work. And for the sports that he is talking about, a suitable place - a playground is very necessary. If you get a proper playground, you can have a healthy body and mind by playing sports well.
1) A trial was organized in March to bring out national level players from Jangalmahal under the initiative of Mohunbagan-Sale Football Academy. Selected players will be given free training for 3 years.

2) There is also provision of football and karate coaching in local initiatives.

3) An archery academy has recently been set up by the government.

4) Renovation of stadium area and gallery has been done.

However, there is still a long way to go. A lot of work is yet to be done and many things need urgent attention, such as:

1) In terms of overall infrastructure, it is still unsuitable for a state-based stadium - the field lacks grass, and the number of seats in the gallery is very limited.

2) Stages are often set up with bamboo structures in the grounds for festivals, but the grounds are not properly cleaned afterwards. As a result, nails, polybags etc. are scattered in the field.

3) Grounds are not regularly maintained, just tidied up before the festival.

4) Also during the expansion of the stadium many trees were felled which were not planned as replacements. As a result, there is a lack of seats for the spectators to stand in the shade of the trees on the side of the field.

It is a large area suitable for morning walk, exercise, football match etc.

Very good stadium...mainly for foorball

Very Beautiful place. But political and administrative meeting must be avoided from this place. Because this damaged the stadium very much.

Jhargram stadium situated at Ghoradhara, Jhargram. It has been upgraded to Jhargram Sports Complex. Bengal Archery Academy is also situated here. Its a beautiful stadium with lots of greens.. This stadium is also used for several sports function, Programs and many others.

Nice place for sports and games. Near people are need and used for morning walk. everyday playing cricket and football for local children's. Location is very good on road side. But food facilities are not there. Long distance for some food and drinks are available.

This is Jhargram District stadium. This stadium is very beautiful and refreshing.People love to visit here and have some exercise and walk also. The sports and the celebration of the Republic Day is also held here.
